Arius gave his phone back to Dante, they exchanged no more words as they continued home. They took off the sunglasses when they arrived.
There was an RV in the drive way when they got back. Getting out of the car, Arius happily walked towards the two people standing outside.
"Glad to see that you two made it." He smiled.
"What took you so long?" Eirik said plainly, yet Airus could still detect irritation.
"I told you that they went shopping!" Zuna seemed excited yet angry as she scolded her father. She turned to Arius, "Now where is my onesie!?"
Arius leaned over to whisper in Zuna's ear. "Hold on til after you unpack, then you can wear it."
"Okay!" She agreed, ignoring the ticklish feeling she got from Arius when he got closer, while Eirik was put off by the familiar way his daughter acted with this man.
"What are you talking about?" Without a change in expression, it was a wonder how they knew he was upset.
"Oh, nothing." Arius denied, but he looked all the more suspicious with that line.
Eirik had no way of predicting his own downfall. He mumbled something as he left to go grab his things, Zuna followed of course. Arius ignored Eirik's mumble as he went to go unlock the front door.
Dante also started grabbing the things he bought with Arius to bring them inside. He left the onesies though, because he had the idea that Arius wanted them to remain a secret for a while. Even if It was only Eirik that didn't know about them.
When Zuna came in with most of her belongings in her arms, she went to asked Arius somthing. "Where's my room going to be?"
"I'm guessing you'll want it close to your dad, and I've decided to put him in the second master's bedroom." Arius led her upstairs, the with a wink he said, "Unless you want to sleep with me."
"That's- n-not, not neccessary!" She looked away as she stumbled on words and also almost stumbled on the stairs. Arius of course, casually caught her by the shoulder before she could fall.
"Calm down, I'm joking. Only Dante sleeps with me in this house." He sighed.
"Oh."
It was more than an hour of unpacking before Arius decided it was time. He had Dante go get the onesies, and also four pairs of badass sunglasses. He had Zuna and Eirik seated in the living area when Dante came in holding the precious outfits.
"Today, we are going to find Dantes brother." Arius announced. "Wearing matching ones-"
"I refuse." Eirik didn't let him finish.
"So you're going to let them discover your identity?" Zuna asked sincerely.
"How will a onesie hide my identity?" Eirik responded.
"We have to be a team if we are going to do this!" Arius told him.
"On what basis?"
"Please." Dante butted in with bright begging eyes as he looked at Eirik. There was moment of silent debate reflected in the man's eyes.
"Fine." He relented. "Just hand it over."
"You two can go change in your rooms upstairs." Arius smiled. "Me and Dante will go change on the third floor."
Once the onesies and sunglasses were passed around, Arius and Dante left the expressionless Eirik and the happy Zuna to go upstairs. Arius quickly put his on and then helped Dante with his, it was a joyous occasion.
The two of them enthusiastically ran down the stairs donning their bunny onesies and sunglasses. Eirik sat on the couch, while Zuna hopped around as if she'd just made the best decision of her life. "I love it! I love it! I love it!"
"Me too!" Dante smiled, showing off his dimples.
Eirik looked at Zuna. "Maybe you should stay here. It might be dangerous."
"I'll be fine." Zuna rolled her eyes under her glasses while Eirik didn't even bother refuting her.
"Alright, let's go!" Arius was having a good time.
"I'm riding shotgun!" Zuna declared.
Arius grabbed his keys while the rest of the crew then followed him outside. If they had neighbors, the group of them would be interesting to witness.
They were soon on their way towards Piper street. As they went, the scenery began to look increasingly sketchy. The bunch seemed oddly placed to onlookers as they stepped out of the car.
