Chapter 6 - The Sixth Cerin.

Cerin buzzed around the venue, checking over clothing, hairstyles and other insignificant things that she should really have left to her assistants.

" What is this?! Where's the designer?"

Suddenly a shrill shriek erupted from the dressing rooms and a model stormed out. She definitely wasn't the prettiest or the most talented one of them but she was definitely the most entitled.

She stopped in front of Cerin and stopped with an imperial expression that only served to get the young designer irritated.

" I was promised the closing piece! How did I get reshuffled to the middle?! I'm willing to overlook this mistake as long as it is instantly fixed!"

Cerin winced at the high pitched voice and instantly got annoyed.

'Don't you think I'm already stressed out enough by this! Or what, do you think you're my favored mistress? What makes you think I wanted you so badly that I should place you as the closer when you're barely even qualified to be in the show?'

Cerin internally raged. She really wished she could let loose on the entitled brat but she couldn't afford to lose a model right before the show and instead settled for taking a deep breath to calm herself down and put on a cool smile.

" Sorry Miss Leanne but you were moved from the closer because your figure wasn't quite what I had in mind, weren't you informed?"

Looking at the teary assistant with a bright slap mark across her face it was obvious that she had been told but had not agreed.

Cerin looked at the clock and decided that she didn't have time to entertain a model that had only made it through certain favors.

" If you have a problem with it, I'm sure I can have one of the other models sub in for you. But you're leaving means you are prepared to pay the charges for violating the contract you signed. Make sure to leave your agency's card and we will bill your agency directly."

Cerin spoke quickly and before the wave of words could finish washing over the irritating woman she began to walk away. Leanne got angrier and angrier as she watched the haughty designer walk away.

'Who does she think she is?! Without the models would there even be a show?!'

Then having been caught up in her tantrum she grabbed her heel off the floor and chucked it at her head. Cerin only remembered a sharp pain at the back of her head and an acute feeling of irritation before her soul was propelled, albeit with some difficulty into the cosmos.

'This is why mother kept saying I should have been a lawyer! But I didn't want to risk dealing with criminals and risking my life. Who would have guessed? If I ever meet that brat again I'll rip off her plastic nose and glue it to her forehead.'

Of course with such clear regrets, she was quickly sucked into the green star.
