Cerin woke up from the odd dream and shook off the ominous feeling. She quickly stood and began a small breakfast then went to the bathroom to wash off the sweat that had accumulated from the day before's work.
She wrapped herself in a thin towel then began to tie up her long hair. As her hand passed by her line of vision a small jade green swirl on her ring finger caught her attention.
It only caught her vision for half a second but half a second was all that was needed.
Her body crumpled down onto the cool tiles of the bathroom floor in a slow movie like manner.
[Beginning directive help the Ninth]
The black text flashed on the inside of Cerin's eyelids as she lost conscious.

Just as quickly as they had lost consciousness the Cerins awoke to see that they were in separate rooms.
The rooms were rather simply furnished with a single queen sized bed and a small table to the side but the decorations outside that were specified to the individual.
The First stood from the bed and looked around, coming to terms with reality much faster from the passionate Third.
A bright light suddenly materialized in the middle of the room and revealed the Cerin that had disappeared earlier on.
One quickly covered the naked girl with a blanket then guided her to take a seat on the bed. As soon as their hands touched One experienced the feeling of merging into the youngster and saw all her memories play in front of her like a movie.
However, Nine felt a very different experience as instead of seeing the experiences as a movie she lived through them as if they'd happened to her.
The shame of her first time. The love of her son. The disgust of others towards her and finally the peace of her death.
The two women stayed collapsed onto the small bed until the memories ended and looked at each other with knowing eyes.
One quickly enveloped Nine into a warm hug as she saw the child struggling to assimilate with the memories and got an idea of the purpose of the jade star
It was not an afterlife but rather a chance to help this child, the Ninth of the cerins avoid a vengeful death as well as to come to terms with their own.
" Worry not child. You don't have to become me through my memories, simply accepting them will be enough."
Nine was still confused as she was still a breathing living human being that had yet to gain the passive enlightenment of death. yet she relished the feeling of merging souls as well as the influx of knowledge that came with it.
" Thank you."
One simply laughed the thanks away and said,
" Worry not child. just make sure to use them well. our -"
She said referring to the First through Eighth Cerins,
" -lives are over but yours is just beginning."
