The group wasn't that surprised at the small sum of money since they hadn't left the first floor as well as that they were in a rather large group for the upper floors. miach congratulated them for their first dive and recommended they split into two groups of three or three groups of two for better hauls. they agreed that this would work far better than their current grouping and decided their groupings would be alex and yang , tsunade and blake and ruby and weiss. despite the less then stellar first dive miach still treated everyone to a small but nice celebration.
The next week the groups trained at dawn before spending the rest of the day in the dungeon slaughtering goblins and kobolds. each group killed about twenty creatures a day earning anywhere between two hundred and two forty valis a day. this inflow of money breathed new life into miach's decrepit store as he could start fixing the building making it actually look pretty good. most of the repairs were easy for alex to do with his wood release to create lumber to be used to repair the old and rotten parts of the building.
The biggest difficulty however was expanding the foundation of the building to create more room for storage and people. this took alex , tsunade and yang careful use of earth release to safely accomplish before they expanded the building to thrice it's original size. alex even decided to help miach with his sign by creating crystal pipes with diamond release in the shape of potions and filling them with neon from alex's light release. this created a brightly glowing sign that let anyone who could see it know that potions could be bought there. this worked great too as miach's store got much more business from the poorer familia nearby.
This caused word of miach's shop to spread amongst friends which lifted miach out of poverty and into the decent earning familia category. ironically miach himself only had a single familia member who had been working hard with a friend of his that could finally work with miach now thanks to the new income. miach thanked the group repeatedly for helping him so much but they said not to think of it as their sponsor he deserved it. still despite that miach made it clear that he would be forever grateful even after alex and the group started to slowly make their way further and further down the dungeon.
"Anyone else think we might be growing too fast?" blake asked after the group had just gotten done updating their status's. every one of the group had maxed out stats including magic and it had only been a week since they started as adventurers. "according to the history books the earliest known case for a level up was two weeks so not really." weiss said calmly. "we should probably hold off leveling up for another week or so just to be sure though." alex said seriously.
Since he couldn't gain anymore stats from training normally alex began to focus on improving his fuin jutsu. after all he did gain that affinity so it would be a waste not to use it. when miach asked what alex was working on out of curiosity and alex explained it he looked like he knew what it was. seeing alex's confusion at miach's knowledge of the subject the god explained that sealing arts were pretty well known to the gods but not many liked the time consuming art. sealing arts were known by people in this world but not very well practiced due to the high talent requirement.
Miach did tell alex that if he offered his sealing art as a service many of the wealthier familia's would pay very well for certain types of seals. alex admitted that he hadn't really practiced that much with seals yet so he would wait till he got better at it before considering that option. miach said that was completely fine before leaving the topic alone. miach's familia member was a skinny man with long black hair that constantly smelled of medicinal herbs. he was pretty introverted though as he kept to himself mostly.
The group held off their level ups till the end of the month before they felt safe enough to break that seal. miach was thrilled when they all leveled up and they celebrated at the famous adventurer tavern "the hostess of fertility" with a small feast. the group went to the guild the day after that to update their adventurers cards to show their new level where they got more congratulations. the only real downside in alex's opinion to leveling up was that all of their stats went back down to i despite them not getting any weaker.
