The information is quite detailed if you might say, like the distance from one place to another, or how shallow is the river. Oh ya, he also discovered that he can also put a location marker on the map. And there would be an arrow leading him to that place no matter how far apart the marker is from his position, but then he could only place the marker on the part of the map he discovered already.
