Lucas woke up early next morning, and washed himself in the nearby river, he made up his mind to hunt some low leveled creatures today. He quickly wore back his robe (it can surprisingly adapt to the surrounding temperature) after the enjoyable shower and looked at his inventory panel. He was contemplating if he should ask the system to craft a spear using the horn or a pair of gloves using the claws.
'The spear is great for distance fight and hunting, but I've never used a spear before. The gloves are great in a desperate situation, it can just scratch the opponent... Could I create a pair of gloves with retractable claws like Wolverine?'
"Hell yeah! It would be so cool to have those claws, for now, let's craft the spear first, time to hunt some fishes, hunting a dragon is a big no-no for now."
Lucas also noticed that some of nearby stones and trees disappeared into thin air, and a well-weighted spear landed on his palms. He carefully observed the spear in his hands. The tip is a white shell-like cone, which is pointy and sharp. The body is made of well-crafted wood, smoothed with polishing and strengthened with a spiral of rock-like material running down the body, making it seems ancient, strong and easy to grab at the same time. Lucas played with the spear for a while to familiarize himself before switching off [Tiger's aura].
No longer feeling threatened, the fishes in the river starts to swim to and fro again. Lucas waited at the side for a fish with lots of nice scales. He was very picky, he sat there the whole morning but still couldn't find a fish to his liking, he had only hunted one fish for breakfast and didn't even bother to take a second glance at that poor creature which is now a stack of bones.
"Move it! Move it, make way for this prince! I can't be late for the ascension ceremony!" A few minutes after dozing off, Lucas was awakened from his nap, he tried to search for the source of the voice. There a black-colored carp was seen dashing through the crowd in the water, but with its awesome agility, it avoids hitting others easily.
"Haha! I know a legend on earth saying that when a carp leaped over the dragon's gate, they become a dragon, who knows that it turns out to be true! Haha, such agility! Looks like I've found my fish." *Stab* *Splash*
The spear missed by an inch, only barely scrape the fins. "Damn it! Mortal! How dare you disrespect a dragon? Bow down this instance!" Lucas suddenly felt heavy, ha~ who would expect this carp to have a dragon's aura before transforming, this only proves that the carp is turning into a dragon soon. But no matter how strong the aura is, it only just obtained its dragon aura recently, and it can't be comparable to a level 4 Tiger's aura. The two auras clashed, causing nearby fishes to desperately swim for their lives, leaving only two of them now.
As they dragged on their battle, the fish was obviously at the losing end, it's aura grew weaker and weaker. 'Damn detestable tiger, why would you bless this mortal, is he your descendant? Our family relationships have been great for ages, are you all trying to start a war now? Wait till I tell my royal father about this.' knowing itself was at the losing end, it faster looked around for an escape route. Sadly, Lucas attacked while it was distracted.
"No wonder I was feeling heavy just now, but system, something's off... you are... surprisingly quiet, no nasty comments?"
"What does it mea... No way! That's the son of the dragon king?!? Sh!t! I'm so screwed. Switch on [Tiger's aura] immediately! 😭 Oh yeah, almost forgot, why did I receive a skill for this fish but not the one I've hunted in the morning?"
"Of course, I want it... Wait, didn't you say it's 500 before? Are you trying to cheat me? I'm poor you know, you can't bully me like this! 😭"
"Ahhh! System, you can't cheat my money like this! I am only left with ~1000 crystals now, and I don't even know how to get them!" Lucas screamed at the system while slowly admiring his jack black gloves. It's made to thousands of tiny scales and looked just like and ordinary gloves, long knife-like claws would pop out on his commands. *shrink* *shrunk* *shrink* *shrunk* He really enjoyed playing with his new-found toy, one can't tell that claws would pop out if he didn't tell them earlier, it would be great for surprise attacks.
"Hell no! I haven't forgot about the trauma with the tiger! But I also don't have any money... By the way, how are the currency viewed here?"
