"Gene look at me."
Not realizing that I spaced out I focus up on my mother. Looking at the orbs still floating around her like I remember them always doing I really don't understand what she means by control. Everything I've done has always been pretty easy.
"Oh, so you think that your control is perfect?" As if reading my mind mom got up from her 'chair' and started floating up in the air. Gesturing towards some hills in the distance I am able to sense her aura begin to rise a bit.
*RUMBLE*
"..."
Seeing the hills beginning to rise from the ground to a few thousand feet in the air is not something you see every day.
*CRASH*
*RUMBLE*
"As you can see with enough control you can move things like mountains and even more so. Granted many people will never be able to achieve such heights because of many limitations be it elemental affinity, time or just the lack actual focus."
Looking around for a moment she as if looking for something she gestures for me to follow her after seeming to find it.
Rising up I start to follow her through the air.
"Now Gene I know you have a lot of questions."
"That's for sure."
"It was the same for me as I was climbing the ranks. Being lost, not knowing if I was going down the right path and all of that jazz, but right now you are at a turning point. Now that you are a half-step into the Kai stage I can tell you how to achieve it."
Coming to a stop I look down on what I can definitely say is the largest city I have ever seen! From Spires that reach up to the clouds, to random floating islands that held what look like towns, and the people my god so many people.
"Must be your first time seeing a city this large huh?"
As if amused by my gawking mom cuts in.
"Well, I hope you do not have a problem with a ton of people because this is where we will be living for the next while or until you can move a planet."
"Hol up, did you just say a planet?!"
"That's exactly what I said, son. A planet, a whole fucking planet." Pausing for a second "Well I should say moving a planet away from its home star's gravitational field and sending it off into open space. Don't worry though it won't have any forms of life on it. Unless someone pisses me off."
Feeling a headache creeping up on me, I bring up my left hand to my head.
"How do you expect me to move a planet out of its local stars orbit? Do you know how strong a star's gravitational field is? Shits like super strong."
Giving me a look, "I mean you destroyed part of the galaxy with a punch how could you not move a planet? Granted moving just a planet is harder since all you have to do to destroy a planet is unleash all your power with enough force, but to move a planet you need more finesse. You can't use to much power or you destroy it nor too little since it won't move."
"But why do I even need so much control to move planets?"
She answers as we slowly float down to the ground a good distance from one of the city's main gates.
"Multiple reasons, but if I had to give you only one it would be that it's just fun to play around with planets."
