Looking at the 'building' in front of me I could only wonder, how they built such a thing. Rather than calling it a building, it would be more appropriate to call it a flying fortress. The whole thing is floating above what I can only call a clusterfuck of nonsense.
Raising an eyebrow I ask mom"What is this supposed to be?"
Seeming to immediately understand what I meant she explained, "As you can see that floating fortress over there is the Adventurer's Guild. And the wasteland below it is what we hear at the guild like to call the nono zone."
"I can see why it's called the nono zone since there is a whole Kai Beast sleeping on a pile of bodies in the middle of a scorched tundra." Shaking my head I continue, "but like why is it just casually cooling there in the capital?"
Slowly making our way to the fortress I notice a few Martial Masters in some relatively modern clothes taking flight.
"Well, it's been there since I came to this place. If I remember correctly the Guild Lead pissed it off years ago and it chased them down until here. One thing you have to remember is that here Kai Beast is extremely powerful and intelligent. While it doesn't go out it's own way to kill anybody, but if anyone attacks it then as you can see," she says gesturing to the pile of bodies "it fights back."
"Why is it still here? Has it not got it's revenge on the Guild Leader yet?"
Jumping up high into the air we take off towards the guild.
"Well, the Guild Lead has been hiding in the guild for who knows how long now. The only reason He is still alive is because of all the formations on the building. By the way, another thing you should watch out for are formations since not only are they complicated, but they can become quite powerful if the right minds come together to create them."
Bringing my attention back to the Kai Beast I can't help but ask if I can fight it.
"So since the GL has been hiding all this time and all of those unfortunate adventurers have been dying to it there isn't a problem if I fight it right?"
Turning her head towards me she just sighs.
"Son you can do what you want I won't stop you, just know that if you kill it there will be many eyes on you."
"But I'm already used to eyes being on me. You might not know this but your son is quite the looker." I say while stroking my nonexistent beard.
*smack*
"You are my son, after all, I would not expect any less just don't be having kids with any random broads."
". . ."
Rubbing the bump on the back of my head I could not help but wonder how she even hit me in the first place.
