*exhale*
As I tune out the crowd, I walk onto the make-believe stage we call destiny.
Looking across the field at my opponent I wonder why I'm even here again when I already know the outcome. My foe this time is Plain and Simple. I don't even know their name, but does it matter now? The conclusion will not be satisfying, but I will continue to put on a show for my adoring fans.
Feeling the trauma creep up the back of my neck, I crack my neck to snap out of it.
"What's wrong little man? Are you already frightened?" The giant says as they do their best to emphasize their size.
I don't entertain the conversation since they are leaving their vitals open. I should not let someone like this get to me. It serves me no purpose during a match.
As I'm looking into the void the match begins with the sound of a bell.
He launches himself at me hoping to end the match quickly with a grab.
I dodge.
They miss.
I point a finger at their exposed back and dump a clip of ki.
*Tutututututu*
"Argh!" Plain and Simple goes down without much of a fight.
I decide not to waste time. The time has come for this to end.
The crowd roars, seeing how quickly the opponent falls. The announcer goes crazy. The ref smiles as if their parlay just hit. During this moment of high energy, I see him appear in the sky above The Colosseum—a being that brings fear to most beings who know of them.
The Omni-King Zeno.
"There you are." Zeno looks at me as if they found a treasure. The crowd does not notice their presence.
"So they have finally made their appearance." I hear the voice of my mother. Turning to my left I see her there with a cool expression, but underneath I know she is worried because of what is coming.
Zeno raises their hands and says, "You shouldn't exist."
An immense amount of pressure begins to come from them. It's one thing to see the destruction of a universe behind a screen. Now I'm living it. All because I'm a variable.
Looking at my mother I see her shedding a tear. We hug one final time.
"I love you mom."
"I love you too son."
Before the universe-destroying energy can reach us, she stabs me through my heart with her hand. I didn't react much since I knew it was coming.
As the energy drains out of my body, I look into my mother's eyes one last time. She brings her other hand to my face and smiles. "When you see your father tell him I said I told him so." It's the last thing I hear before everything goes dark.

"Next in line please!"
Hearing the attendant and seeing no one ahead of me, I walk up to the massive desk. Looking at King Yemma I wait to be judged.
"Hmm.... A warrior from unknown origins. Strange, why do you not have no history?"
"I have no clue, sir."
"Well, we will just go through regular procedures then. Straight to Hell."
