I grew to the size of a young child as I evolved.
[Evolution completed: Lämmergeier (Bearded vulture)]
I was larger than most Bearded vultures as I don't think birds grew to such sizes in a month. However, I was grateful.
Rin opened her eyes as the light dimmed, she saw that her beloved companion Peregrine Falcon Grin was no longer there but in its stead was a huge Bearded Vulture. Fear flooded her eyes but it subsided as she saw the bracelet on my wrist.
"Grin, you must be a gift from above. Life is cruel but there is light. Grin you must be my light as you gave me hope each time I was about to fall into the abyss. Impossible has no meaning for you. For you have made the impossible possible by finding Father while shocking me by transforming in front of my eyes. I must be dreaming or have already stepped into another world, if so I hope to see Father soon."
Seeing Rin mumble such ridiculous words, I couldn't stand it anymore as I swung Rin up my back with my stronger beak and neck. She instinctively grabbed my neck. After making sure she was secure, I opened my wings, preparing to take flight with Rin.
"Yelp..."
Rin hiccuped as she hugged my neck tightly and she squirmed ever so slightly, shunting her eyes. As I flapped my wings, I slowly lifted off the ground. In my previous world, the thought of modern birds lifting fully grown humans into the sky was insane. However, this was a world of sword and magic so nothing was impossible or in this I could lift Rin up due to evolution which gave me more power, [Greater Strength].

I gained the ability to easily gather wind beneath my wings, likely due to the new magic I learnt. I flapped my wings with all my might squeezing [Greater Strength] as we rose into the great blue slowly.
As we reached the clouds, Rin slowly opened her eyes as she felt the colder air of the skies caressing her face.
"Wow..."
Rin gawked at the beautiful sight of crystal islands floating above the sea of green. The island were glittering in twilight as a myriad of colours were reflecting back into the skies. The view was something that could not be seen from the land below the clouds.
Before Rin could snap out of her daze, I dashed through the sky with [Extreme Speed]. Cutting through the simmering lights reminded me of speeding down the streets covered with neon and LED lights.
When we approached the corpses of our parents the sun had already set, the coloured lights were now replaced with the gentle moonlight. Moonlight shinning through the overhang of the forest, revealing the peaceful scene of a man sleeping with his two pet birds.
"Father..."
Tears pooled up in Rin's eyes. She trembled with sadness yet a hint of happiness was slowly blooming. I glided down and landed softly with dust rising from the breeze created. Rin got off slowly hesitantly moving forward before breaking out into a run. As she was about to crash into her father, her knees buckled as she knelt before her father.
She grasped his cold hands that were hugging his Peregrine Falcons, as she whispered.
"Father, I missed you and I'm glad that I can meet you in this world before meeting you tomorrow with Mother. I hope you can introduce me to her... Do you think she will like me? ..."
