Chapter 87 - Departure

Fast forward 1 month into advance, Hannah was nearing the peak of her level while Jeremy,Matthew and Timothy advanced to level 5 and were the first fews who had advanced into such a level,

Hannah also farmed like crazy and charged into hordes of level 3 zombies and was able to kill 5 in a single swoop.

These few days Matthew made her kneel on the washboard for charging out into hordes of zombies. That really hurt her knees.

The system "So says a superhuman"

So now that Matthew was outta sight, she charged off into the horde like a maniac to quickly farm and become stronger.

Seeing that Matthew had yet to be down on his part she decided to sneakily return back. Even if she left Matthew to fend off on his own, if he couldn't take care of hundreds of these weak level 1-4 zombies then he wouldn't have lived this long.

"Ahhhh there's no place better than home!" Though she didn't stain her clothes with zombie ooze and membrane, she did get her entire body soaked with sweat, this was especially so after a hot day of farming.

But to anger, someone stole her entire carton of strawberry frozen yogurt which she painstakingly saved up spare system points for.

Besides her the only person who loved this wonderful gift from God was Eleo!

Hannah " Damn it Eleo, how DARE you still my FOOD! Kneel down and hold your ears for the next 1 hour" she screamed as the thought of Eleo eating HER treat that was meant to be a celebratory dessert for a hard's day work.

With only Himself to blame, Eleo knelt down next to Hannah

At that time the door opened and a furious Matthew came in, glaring at Hannah

The sight of him made Hannah shrink back her body and tried to avoid eye contact.

"Do you know what you've done wrong this time?" Charging into a pack of zombies! How dangerous was that she could've been killed, especially when she was fighting them close range with her fists and chopsticks

With only 1 option left Hannah abandoned what was last left of her dignity and gave Matthew her puffy dog eyes.

System ' what dignity? Why do I smell bvllshit everywhere?'

Though her puffy dog eyes did pinch his heart a little, he had to teach her a lesson.

"Kneel down and hold your ears" Ignoring the confused Eleo who stood up from Matthew's pressure, he harshly commanded Hannah.

Seeing that she had no other option, she shooed Eleo away from his current position and knelt at where he last stood with her puppy dog eyes staring at Matthew as if she was experiencing a great grievance.

When Matthew left, her expression changed from an abused puppy to an angry tiger and glared at the innocent Eleo " What are you waiting for? Kneel down with me!" as she tugged at the sleeves of Elmo's shirt and pulled him to kneel down next to her

'Ding, you have gained 10 shameless points'

With the savior gone and a chance to escape gone, Eleo had no choice but to kneel with Hannah for the next hour.

Emma eventually passed by where they were and merely sighed before continuing with her buisness.

====================

After rubbing her delicate but horribly abused knees, she skipped towards her room as she did everyday.

After checking that no one was in the vicinity, the aura of a playful kid which normally surrounded her dissapeared and was replaced with a cold, distant and oppresive feeling from around her.

One couldn't think of her as an immortal fairy looking down on the world. Being so far yet so near, there was also a tinge of lonliness as she stood by the window.

Hannah's eyes narrowed as she had a complicated gaze as she stared across the horizon through the glass stained window.

Her gaze which was so lively sank , if one were to look closely desolation could be seen in her eyes, as if she was an immortal who'd traveled a thousand miles alone.

She opened the cold yet strong window as the cold wind blew against her flushed gentle face, her hair swayed with the wind as she closed her eyes and entered a trance.

Her heart cold yet wanting something warm to fill up that horrible hole, even with friends she would feel empty every once in awhile... just what was she missing?

She had wonderful friends who'd be at her back and call. She had loving parents which for her, would give their everything.

Unknowingly, she had began craving for an emotion that she never got to really experience, not a shallow form of that emotion, but one that truly touched her heart.

But...just what was it? Why did she always wanted to be alone whenever such a feeling arised in her heart...

Such things are really confusing, heart what are you trying to tell me when you ache?

After calming her stirred emotions her eyes opened with the glow it always had.Only burning with brighter flames as her blossoming chubby face ignited.

Well.. emotions aside she was going to have to face the entire world alone. Not wanting to complicate the people around her.

Even if the world became her enermy one day she would still trudge on, even if she was to be powerless against her enermies then she will struggle and crawl with all her might.

A girl against the whole world.

'Sounds fun' she thought as her cherry lips turned into a small grin as she landed ontop of the roof and stood tall and proud.

Her figure blown by the winds of the heavens,a powerful yet seductive smile was reflected against the smile as it let out a small chuckle.

"IT'S DINNER TIME!" The familiar yet soothing voice yelled across the sky.

The figure turned the otherway, no longer having the bearing of a desolate and unobtainable immortal fairy to a friendly yet comforting aura before vanishing into the night as the last rays of the light was vanquised by the night.
