As I stirred in my sleep, I felt a warm body next to me. I shifted a bit but something held my waist tightly. I groaned slightly and opens my eyes slowly.
I blinked twice and looked at the Dragon above the bed. I looked to my left and saw a figure by me. I looked carefully and saw that Weishang was sleeping next to me.
"Weishang, please wake up" I said softly. He stirred and let go of my waist as he turned. I got up and stretched my stiff muscles. I walked towards the mirror and took out all my hair pins. I combined my hair and tied it up into a bun.
Their was a knock on the door and I walked to it. "Who is it?" I said slowly. We bring bath water and breakfast Miss Chen" said a female voice.
I opened the door and two dozen maids came in. They set the breakfast on the dining table and the bath behind the bamboo curtain.
A maid came in and put fresh clothes for me on the lounging chair. It was a simple violet hanfu. "Thank you" I replied as they bowed and left the room.
I walked towards the bamboo curtain, taking the hanfu with me and put it on the table hex to the bath.
I undressed, putting my mother's dress against the chair to the corner. I slowly got into the lukewarm water and groaned in delight.
The past few hours have been hectic. I looked at the mountains outside and gazed with amazement.
'Lixue?" I heard a voice say, opposite of the bamboo curtain. "Yes?" I replied as I absorbed the scent into my pores. "Are you done my dear?" The voice asked as it got closer. "Almost" I replied. The person shifted, coming even closer. I covered myself with a cloth.
Weishang came in slowly. I heard his clothes shift slightly, indicating that he is taking off his clothes. I closed my eyes and heard him slid into the bath.
"Open your eyes" he said softly. I shook my head and kept my eyes closed. He sighed and held my wrist, pulling me towards him.
He sat me on his lap, where I felt his crotch aganist my tummy. I held my breath slightly as he grazed my back with his hand.
I opened my eyes and looked deep into his. Up close, he looked even nor majestic. I slowly brought up my Han and held his cheek in my hand.
At first, I pulled it back, but his other hand brought it back. The sunlight made the water look more clear.
"You shouldn't be scared. You are going to be mine once we be married. You own me as much as I own you. What's mine will be your and what used to be yours will be mine" he whispered. I blushed and pulled away, getting out the water with the cloth around me.
"I'm going to get dressed. Do not be in the way for long" I replied softly and put a robe over me, with my back towards him, getting rid of the wet cloth.
I heard him groan and whisper "if only you weren't I wasn't facing your back" he said. I giggled to myself, tying the robe and walking towards the lounging table where the dress provided for me was.
I dried myself and put on the dress. It fit me very well. I placed my mother's pin into my bun and put on light lip colouring.
I smiled at my reflection and walked towards the lounging couch. I saw Weishang's reflection moving around.
He come out, dressed in his golden robe. He walked towards me and sat next to me. "You didn't have to wait for me" he said as he picked up his chopsticks and got some rice.
"Of course I was going to wait for you. If I didn't, I would eat everything" I said, humour in my voice. He smirk at me and continued to dish for me and him.
When we were done, he got dressed and directed me to his office. As we walked, I saw six bodyguards behind us and two maids by my side. We got to his office and everyone behind in us got in.
"Lixue these are your bodyguards and maids. You two personal maid, Ai and Bai. These two are highly skilled warriors but they are also maids and will protect you. Your bodyguard will escort you when I'm not around you" he said.
They all bowed at me and I nodded slightly. "Now, I must be to a court meeting. The preparations will be in progress from now on. Their will be many people moving around the palace. A tailor will be called to come and measure you and design your dress.
If you need anything, Bai and Ai will provide for you" he said smiling and kissed my cheek. "I will see you later" he said, guiding us out out to the hallway. He went the opposite direction, as I walked on the direction close to the room.
"Bai" I said. "Yes, your grace?" She replied. "Please call me Hien. Can we go to a garden. I feel like sparing" I replied with a determine voice. Bai nodded, smirking slightly, "your wish is our command" she bowed.
