"You just got to press the little circular button on the bottom…" Thrasher smiled at her before she giggled.
"Oh! It even says I can log out. However, mister, will I see you again?" She had 0 friends on her friends list, and felt somewhat afraid of being alone. This was her first time playing a game without her parents, and she was hoping to acquire this big brother.
Soon, she received a request to be the friend of Thrasher, and smiled before she accepted the request.
"Wow! I know your name… you're that guy that most elite players hate."
Thrasher smiled hearing that piece of information. "Well, I had no choice to make them hate me, they got in my way."
The girl pondered this for a second and squinted at Thrasher. "So, you're dangerous to be friends with. I love it!"
She laughed before Thrasher smiled at the little girl whose character name was Crimson Bell. He bent down and motioned her to jump on his back.
"Well, its time I get you back to the wolves. If I don't take you soon, the drows mother will come out and capture you!"
"Oh no! Not their mother!" The little girl immediately sprang onto Thrasher's back before they ran off.
He soon felt her fall asleep on his back as he ran back to towards the level 5 area, Baron Forest. He then dropped her off and pet her on the head. She woke up and squinted seeing some level 3 wolves whimpering around Thrasher.
"So, how many of these do you have to kill, Crimson Bell?"
"Uhm, I have to kill 45 of them… However, its really hard to kill them with just a stick…"
The girl pulled out a level 1 wooden sword before Thrasher giggled and dropped her to the dirt.
"Yes, it's just a wooden sword, but it's your best friend in this game! Now, you're level 8, go try to hit those wolves in the head as hard as you can."
Crimson Bell sighed before she walked over somewhat angrily towards the whimpering wolves. "Come here." She began swatting at the wolves as Thrasher nodded.
"Yes, just hit them a lot harder, and make sure to put your back into it!"
Crimson Bell then adjusted her posture. Unfortunately for the monsters, since they were three levels lower then her it was like watching a baby kill wolves for little specs of candy.
"Hmmm, this is actually kind of fun. DIE WOLFIE DIE!"
Thrasher smiled at her before he sent her a swordsmanship manual to her mail box. "Here girl, I found this catalog on the server… Please take a look at it, and study it closely. However, you're really getting quite good at that."
The girl smiled as she bashed another wolf down to zero health.
"He he! These lower level monster are nothing to me! Bow before your little ruler!"
She swatted a few more wolves before Thrasher decided to leave her to it. After saying a short good bye, and making sure she received the manual, he left. From this time, it would be a few days before she opened that manual and discovered the profundities inside of it.
Very soon, a swordsman might be born. Still, she had to kill wolves, and the noobs around her could only gawk at her cruelty.
….
Thrasher ran back towards the Yellow Mist Valley and ran past the dead bodies of the Drows.
A few elites were still standing outside of the valley fighting the Low Drows, and he heard their chatter once again.
Be that as it may, he had no choice but to run ahead, and enter the deepest part of the valley.
'Hmmm, that cave is still probably around her my beauties.' His swords were drawn as he talked to them. Now, he just had to locate the cave with the wall paintings to see if he could unlock a sub class.
Sub classes were very valuable for players in <
In the game, there was official and non-official guilds. Once you owned an official guild, the blessings of various gods could be bestowed on your guild in exchange for certain organizational missions. Hence, if you wanted the blessing of Goddess Bona, you'd have to go into her church and do missions for them.
'Well, this looks like a nice place to start…'
Thrasher ran into the cave with a set of cave paintings on the walls, and noticed a set of level 37 and 38 monsters in front of him.
Rag Kobold
Level 37
HP: 12,000 / 12,000
MP 4,000 / 4,000
Moon Slinger
Level 38
HP 3,000 / 3,000
MP 20,000 / 20,000
Elephant Spider
Level 38
HP 4,000 / 4,000
MP 1000 / 1000
He was already acquainted with these monsters in the other game, and immediately hopped on the walls. From there, he latched onto one of the crevices before he began sending out [air slashes]. Luckily, his air slash was enough to deal with the Rag Kobold, and with little else to do he activated his chat.
"Ding! You've received 37 messages from Dream Knight"
"You've received 12 messages from Elegant Hammer"
"You've received 1 message from Purple Monarch."
'I guess they really love me…" Thrasher said as his blade glowed with a white light. He upgrades air slash to level 12, and was one level away from learning [spindle inferno] an AOE attack. Once he had that attack, he'd probably charge into the spiders.
"Hmmm, I guess I'll open Purple Monarch's emails, and say I didn't receive the other emails…"
He clicked on his screen as he yawned sending out air slashes at the jumping up Kobolds. Their HP fell by 300 every hit, and they could only scream.
"Hey… This is Purple Monarch. We have some news for you, and we suggest you take precaution and don't freak out. The journalists are probably trying to find you right now… However, Dream Knight is getting the beautician subclass…. Don't worry, okay guild head!"
Corey laughed and then sent a reply. "Hmmm, I knew this would happen… Tell Dream Knight to stop worrying so much and meet me in Yellow Mist Valley!"
Secretly, on the inside, he was shaking with nervousness, but at least he had these monsters to vent his frustrations out on.
One of the Kobalds was down to 300 health, and he sent out one more air slash.
The first Kobold fell, and then the 10th fell. With this, he received 40,000 experience points and leveled up to level 26.
'Ugh, what's taking you so long Purple Monarch! Are you too tall to see my message?'
