Zayn continued to head deeper and deeper into the Python Beast Forest. It took him far longer to do that because he had to always sense the Qi and track it.
He followed the Qi as it got purer and purer. Infinite Star helped him with his sensing and tracking, as Zayn's real Spiritual Sense was still not entirely unlocked.
Traveling further and further into the Python Beast Forest, it wasn't unexpected that Zayn encountered another beast on his way to the source.
This time, however, Zayn wanted a beast to emerge. He wanted to test out his strength upgrade in a fight. As luck would have it the beast he encountered was a gorilla-like beast with yellow fur. It seemed to be the same species as the first beast, which Zayn encountered.
'Great! I can test my strength now!'
The beast stared at Zayn, like any other beast, ready to kill Zayn. Zayn didn't wait long. He immediately charged the gorilla-like beast.
The beast as every other beast was surprised by Zayn's strength.
The beast, which Zayn encountered always underestimated him. They thought that Zayn was just a weakling. And they were always caught off-guard when Zayn displayed his strength.
Previously, in his prior fights against the beasts, he nearly always had to use the Fire Fist and the Phantom Blade Movement Art, to finish the beasts off.
But this time, Zayn didn't want to use any of them. He wanted to test his strength without his trump cards. He hoped that he would be able to finish the beast without relying on them.
As the gorilla-like beast was caught off-guard, Zayn's attack landed directly on the beast's head.
*BOOM*
Zayn noticed that his speed was greatly increased, he could even take the beasts off-guard even if they wouldn't underestimate him.
His attack was an ordinary punch. His full force in a punch. Nothing special.
The beasts flew off. His head was shattered in pieces. He was instantly dead, without even being able to react to that.
But the impact and strength Zayn felt left him flabbergasted. It was a huge strength upgrade only this one Star.
Zayn was satisfied with this strength upgrade. He increased his overall strength greatly only from rising one Star. That was a great feeling for Zayn.
He continued to walk a bit, but he quickly noticed that he was hungry.
He sat down, pulled out a pot out of his Inventar. He also pulled out a water jug and filled the pot with it.
Instantly after he used his Fire Fist, but only to heat the pot up.
It was the first time Zayn made something to eat in the Python Beast Forest.
During his Cultivation, he didn't feel any hunger. And it went one for five days straight. Before that, he didn't feel any hunger at all.
Throughout the time of his travel to the Python Beast Forest, Vown always took care of the fire to heat up their food and cook things.
Zayn himself didn't know anything about making a fire, he had to improvise to do that. So, he thought about the Fire Fist. It was a fire, only on his fist. It should be able to do the job.
Infinite Star didn't comment on this action. He saw many others do similar things to what Zayn did.
But Vown, who was still watching over Zayn, was overwhelmed by it. He also knew of many cultivators, who would use Martial Skills to do simple things, but to use the Fire Fist instead of making a fire was simply brazen.
Making a fire was for cultivators one of the simplest things to do and to exchange this for a Martial Skill, that deprived of one of the strongest Martial Families in the entire empire was just brazen.
The water in the pot started to boil and Zayn stopped his usage of the Fire Fist with that. He pulled out another item out of his Inventory and began to glow in happiness.
'Instant Noodle!'
Vown gave Zayn a load of instant noodles, for the trip. He should've used the instant noodles up first and then through that create the need to hunt for food. This should've made it easier for Zayn to hunt beasts. He would use the first few days to accustomate himself to killing and then start to hunt for his survival.
But who would have thought that Zayn would directly start to kill on his first day and have no issue with the act of killing?
And after that spent five days straight sapping out the cultivation side.
Zayn was just a destructor of normal expectations.
After cooking his instant noodles and eating up Zayn packed all of his stuff and continued to the source.
Walking for a while, Zayn soon noticed that the Qi's thickness and pureness around him overtook the cultivation side's Qi.
Zayn was surprised by this discovery.
'Maybe the second cultivation side is near me...'
After theorizing about the reason, Zayn pulled out his map to verify that.
As he tried to pinpoint his position now, he noticed that he was way off the second cultivation side. He wasn't anywhere near it. Checking his position again he noticed that he entered the black are, which Ryu marked.
Ryu told him to stay away from that area no matter what, but no he entered it. And it seemed like the Star was right in the middle of the black area.
"Infinite Star! We are in the black area!"
"I thought so... The Star had to be located somewhere dangerous... It was only natural."
"What?!?"
"No one can detect the Star Qi, but one can sense the pure Qi and the thickness of it. This will always attract beasts, as they are attracted to Qi by nature. The strongest beast would reign near the Star and claim it as theirs. As the forest is called the Python Beast Forest, I think that the Star Body would be guarded by the Python Beast himself, but I'm not sure myself. Your friend told you, that inside the black area, the Python Beast is living so it would be the most likely case."
"WAIT! I have to fight off the Python Beast for the Star Body?!? Ryu told me that he should be in the Qi Gathering Realm, there's no way I could beat it!"
"Kid, relax! Did you really think that it would be a cakewalk? Naturally, there's danger to it! But don't worry I have my ways! If it doesn't work we can always come back later to absorb it, don't worry."
"Come back later... Hehehehehehehe...." Zayn remembered that he had a Quest for the Star Body. He wasn't sure if he was able to just walk away and fulfill the Quest later or if he would be punished.
'FUCK'
"Kid, no greatness comes without its risk!"
Zayn had no choice. He trusted in Infinite Star's judgment and didn't want to risk failing the Quest. Also, Zayn's greed was triggered. He really wanted the Star Body. Infinite Star told him no one in the entire world probably had absorbed one.
He continued to walk, right as he noticed a huge cave near him.
"Kid! BE CAREFUL! The Python Beast is coming out!"
Following Infinite Star's warning, Zayn also noticed the Python Beast coming out of the cave.
