A few days later, a huge scandal spread among the business industry.

….
In the cafeteria of Glory Trade Corporation, a young woman's voice spoke loudly.
"Disgusting! How could a man do such a thing to a person? Not to mention his son, maybe not by blood, but he still raised him!"
The short-haired woman puffed out her round cheeks in a rage. Staring down at her phone, she aggressively commented profanities on the site. The woman sitting beside her with a straight back and dark, long hair clipped by a simple hairpin sighed helplessly.
"Jinny, you shouldn't read into that stuff too much." Senior Su smoothed the woman's disheveled hair.
A man sitting across from them chuckled and nodded his head. "She's right. Whenever there's a debate or scandal online you turn into a little squirrel on steroids."
Embarrassed, Jinny lowered her head and puffed out her glowing cheeks. "Sorry, I didn't realize…"
Senior Su sighed and gently stroked the woman on the head.
"Don't mind his words. You're very cute when you get fired up, but it's still not good to overdo it."
"Senior Su…" Jinny looked up, blinking her worshiping, moist eyes.
Immediately, the image of a worshiping, teary squirrel emerged.
While the two were wrapped in a harmonious, warm aura, the girl sitting across from them poked at her food lazily, her expression cold and aloof. The girl's entire being exuded a gloomy air. Perceiving her rare lack of interest in the food in front of her, the man beside her widened his eyes.
He looked at the uneaten food on her plate with surprise. "Mimi, is something wrong? Why aren't you eating your food?"
The moment his words were spoken, everyone at the table's attention looked at Mimi in alarm.
She wasn't eating? Was she ill?
Over the past three years, Mimi engraved a deep impression on all her colleagues at Tobias's company. Though some were still fearful of her bizarre appearance and snubbed by her dull, blunt attitude, they all adapted to her strange, genius self.
As for her immense appetite…that was still up to debate.
The girl was so petite yet, but possessed the appetite of three full-grown men!
Workers who had known her since her first arrival were unmoved by what they saw the girl consume, but never for long, as Mimi would occasionally scar them with her appetite once more.
Often new employees would enter the company, two of which quit the day they saw Mimi, claiming her to a malicious spirit. Another lasted only two days before leaving.
His last words being: "I've seen too much."
Overall, they recognized the girl as their little gluttonous ghost junior. To see her not take a bite of her food everyone could not help but find it strange.
Senior Su was a little surprised seeing the uneaten food in front of Mimi and asked: "Mimi, are you feeling all right?"
Faced with everyone's intense, anxious stares, the corner of Mimi's lips twitched.
Why were they acting as if she was on the verge of death?
Setting her fork down, she pushes her plate away from her. "I'm not hungry."
Instant terror flashed across everyone's faces.
"You…You're not hungry? Do you want some of my food? I took the last apple fritter, if you want, you can have it!" The colleague beside her pushed his plate in front of her.
He along with everyone else was aware of Mimi's love for sweets. How could she reject a free offer for a delicious sweet?
Mimi stole a glance at the large apple fritter on the man's plate and without saying a word, shook her head. Again, everyone's expression turned ghastly.
Something was wrong with their gluttonous little ghost junior!
"Master Mimi, are you perhaps not feeling well? Did something happen? Whatever it is don't be brave and bear the pain alone!" Jinny stared at Mimi, her large eyes filled with concern.
Mimi: "…"
Well, she couldn't blame for having such bizarre reactions.
She was also shocked by her lack of appetite—no, rather her lack of interest toward food. It wasn't that she didn't find other foods delicious; she just couldn't find herself enjoying it as much as she used to.
Mimi only felt pure bliss when eating Tobias's food!
It seemed all the extravagant dishes in the world paled in comparison to Tobias's home-cooked meals.
Upon thinking of last night's meal where Tobias served her crispy fried dried fish, and lightly seasoned tofu with sweet chili oil, she suddenly felt hungry again.
Without another word, Mimi stood up from her seat and quietly excused herself. Everyone watched her leaving figure with disheartened eyes.
"Master Mimi…" Jinny watched her leave and felt a pang in her chest.
Her master was suffering so much! To not even eat a single bite of her food, what could it possibly be?
If Mimi could hear Jinny along with everyone else's concerned thoughts, she'd walk back up to the table and inhale all of their food to shut them up – once more etching a scarring image in their minds.
...
Mimi hummed to herself while entering the elevator. Clicking the button to the top floor, her lips curled up into a joyful smile.
Food! Food! She was finally going to eat delicious food!
Ding—!
Seeing as the elevator arrived at the top floor, Mimi stepped out, pausing halfway at the scene before her. A young woman, possibly no older than twenty-three, wearing a long pencil skirt and white blouse stood in front of Tobias Itou.
Yet, what shocked Mimi the most was to see the rare smile on Tobias's face, expressed toward the woman in front of him.
Oh? What was this?
Mimi couldn't control the frown from appearing on her lips, nor the knit in her brows. She glanced down at the woman's round, plump chest and came to an understanding.
Ah…So that's what it was.
Staring down at her undeveloped chest, Mimi's heart grew somewhat bitter. Three years had passed, and her breasts had only grown by one cup! One cup! When alone, there was hardly any flesh she could knead to her satisfaction!
Having followed Tobias's advice, Mimi consumed vegetables regularly, possibly even more than sweets. Yet, her breasts continued to stay flat peaches.
Where were the sweet melons she was promised?!
Watching as the two continued to converse, Mimi, never one to be humble, strode toward the two. As she got closer, she could make out the woman's silky voice speaking.
"Mr. Itou, I can't thank you enough for your support! I hope to work with you again and merge our products!"
"En, if you need anything else, don't be afraid to ask."
The woman's face brightened at his words, a faint rosy blush appearing on her fair cheeks.
"Thank you, Mr. Itou!"
As if thinking of something, the woman glanced up at the beautiful man and hesitated to speak.
"Mr. Itou, I know this is sudden, but by any chance do you…"
Suddenly, a girl's clear, soft voice interrupted her. "Mr. Itou."
Startled, the woman glances behind her and nearly had a heart attack.
G-Ghost!
However, upon further inspection, she could see the so-called 'ghost' was a girl dressed in heavy makeup and dark clothing. As if not noticing her, the girl's line of sight continued to focus on the man beside her, her purple eyes deepening.
"Did I interrupt?" She glanced at the two and raised a brow.
The woman opened her mouth to speak but quickly interrupted by Tobias's deep voice.
"No, we just finished. Ms. Tong, it was a pleasure to work with you."
The woman by the name of Ms. Tong smiled politely and bobbed her head. "Yes, it was a pleasure to work with you too, Mr. Itou."
Tobias smiled at the woman. When his emotionless, black eyes left to look at the girl beside him, the dimness in his eyes softened.
"Come into my office," Tobias's voice was gentle as he ushered Mimi forward.
His voice had been so gentle Ms. Tong felt as if she misheard it and widened her dewy eyes. Was it her imagination or was his attitude toward the ghost girl slightly more…gentle?
Ms. Tong couldn't help stealing another glance at the gothic clothed girl who followed behind Tobias and stared in a daze. Just as Mimi was about to close the door, she shifted her head to the side and twisted her lips into a mocking sneer.
Ms. Tong stiffened upon receiving Mimi's expression and couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine. Shaking her head with a sigh, she walks toward the elevators.
It was best not to dwell on such a strange-looking person. Besides, she was going to see Tobias Itou again.
...
In Tobias's office, the man leisurely walked toward his desk and began going over a set of documents. Mimi sat on a chair in the lounge, her hand supporting her chin as she quietly observed Tobias's calm, focused movements.
His beautiful, slender fingers flipped through page after page, occasionally grabbing a pen to scribble something down.
Those deep, ink colored pupils gazed at the papers indifferently as if he were staring at blank pieces of paper and not tiring business deals. His gestures were noble and elegant, almost like an emperor.
Mimi's lips minced together when her line of sight landed on his neat pulled-back, black hair. She stood up from her seat and walked over toward his desk.
Detecting her approaching figure, Tobias raised his head to ask her what was wrong, but in the next moment, he suddenly felt a pair of warm, soft fingers spread across his hair.
Mimi combed through his neatly combed hair with her fingers and tussles with it a bit until strands of black hair fell in front of his dark eyes. Once arranged into a scattered mess, she backed up and beamed a satisfied smile.
"You look more handsome this way." Mimi giggled.
Tobias gazed up at her dumbfounded and felt his words clog up in his throat. The golden and warm sunlight sprinkling from the large windows landed on the girl before him.
Her previous cold temperament was bright and cheerful, adding another layer of radiance to her delicate, striking features.
Tobias knew hidden beneath that heavy makeup was a palm-sized face like flawless porcelain, clear of any blemishes or pores. Behind those painted red lips were a pair of soft-looking rose petals that greased after she devoured the food.
Tobias grew silent for a moment and cleared his throat from his wandering mind.
"Thank you."
"Mhm!" Mimi nodded, but didn't walk away and continued to stare at Tobias intensely.
For some unknown reason under her stare, Tobias felt slightly…anxious.
Deciding to let her be, he looked back at his documents.
"Do you need anything?"
"Toby, do you like peaches or melons better?"
Tobias's movements paused. Holding the paper in his hand, he shifted his gaze back up toward the girl, his brows wrinkled.
"What?"
"Just answer truthfully. Do you like peaches or melons?" The girl twinkled her eyes calmly, a faint curve in her lips.
Tobias stared at the girl a while longer before sighing.
"Peaches."
To his response, Mimi's lips minced tightly together - the upward curvature of her mouth could hardly be suppressed. To avoid seeming too pleased by his response, Mimi nodded her head.
"Is that it?"
"Mm, that's it!"
Without another word, she happily walked back to the lounge and flipped through a few magazines. Tobias watched her movements with puzzled eyes.
Why did she suddenly seem happier?
Choosing not to understand the girl's mind, Tobias glanced back down at his work and proceeded with his task.
