Mimi arched her brows as she watched the woman slowly compose herself back to her previous confident arrogant self.
She had already reached so low, yet she was still acting confident?
Seeing this caused Mimi to suddenly shudder inwardly.
This is the reaction she wanted to see! Much better than her childish schemes of bad-mouthing and accidental tripping.
Mimi found that choosing to scheme without facing them head-on was cowardly. It was mere child's play.
Where was the fun of talking bitterly behind a glowing screen, or spreading rumors or complaining to another?
None would truly deliver an exciting outcome in Mimi's book. Fighting fiercely head-on had habitually been her preferred method in life.
As the woman slowly began losing her rationality that's when the fun would start beginning!
Oh, this was going to be fun!
"Oh? You think I'm lying?" Mimi grinned.
"Hmph! What? Are you saying you're not?" The woman laughed mockingly. "You'll have to try a lot harder than that to make me believe you!"
Mimi merely hummed in response as if thinking deeply about something. With her slender pale finger softly tapping the phone in her hand, a dazzling tender smile spreads on Mimi's lips.
However, her sophisticated eyes remained lifeless and dull.
"You're right, I might be lying. But that nonetheless grants me complete right to slap you." Mimi calmly shrugged her shoulders.
"How does a mere lie give you the right to hit your fellow colleague?" The woman glared fiercely.
Sighing as if the person in front of her was a mere idiot, Mimi gently places a strand of her silky hair behind her dainty ear.
"First slap was for destroying my phone and the important contents you claim to be fake," Mimi raised her hand, numbering her reasons. "Second, you not only ruined my clothes but you had also injured me severely."
"What injuries?" The woman laughed as if she had undoubtedly heard the biggest joke ever.
However, suddenly she stopped instantly once she recognized the slightly swollen areas on Mimi's delicate pale flesh indicating she was burnt.
The woman had practically forgotten how hot the coffee was once she poured it on Mimi. The other female colleagues along with the onlookers upon hearing Mimi's words, stared wide-eyed before slightly looking at the woman with displeasure.
Everyone was too distracted in finding Mimi in the wrong they hadn't noticed the apparent red burns on her. Due to her soft delicate complexion, the burns were even more apparent.
Although they thought Mimi wasn't a pleasant person and deserved to be set in her place, that hadn't meant they wished for her to get hurt.
Witnessing the evident burns on Mimi's tender flesh, they couldn't help but frown - guilt seeping through their hearts.
"Ah...Just because she's a bit dislikable that doesn't mean it's alright to injure her. She's nonetheless our junior." A female employee voiced.
"Agreed, no matter what injuring someone is simply too much!"
"She's her senior yet she acts so childishly! Even going as far as to purposely hurt a fellow colleague!"
Hearing everyone's disdainful words directed towards her, the woman's face flushes red her expression turning uglier by the second.
Dammit! This isn't wasn't how things were supposed to go!
"B...But I still didn't deserve that second slap! Do you genuinely think I'll still believe you about the Honoshino project?"
Regarding her shameless and desperate appearance to reverse the disgraceful situation, everyone merely shook their heads with grave displeasure. Her friends stared at her with lowered heads, clearly embarrassed.
It was quite clear whose side everyone was on at this point.
"How about this…" Mimi suddenly voiced.
Looking up at Mimi, the woman shivered as she looked into the girl's violet eyes. A light flashed beneath them - an evil demoness aura surrounded her.
"If I can prove I'm telling the truth, I want you to personally leave Glory Trade Corporation." Mimi declared with a vacant expression.
"W..What?" The woman choked, dumbfounded.
"I was thinking of having you bow to me, but seeing the position you're in now, it's already close to one." Mimi curled her sensual red lips. "However, after thinking it through I realized this company doesn't need anyone so childish to damage its image. People who only know how to resort to childish schemes shouldn't be welcomed here."
"You...What thinks you have the authority to make such a decision!" The woman shrieks.
"Seeing as how I'm the only one being mature in this situation, I say I have every right. After all, I should have originally given you three slaps due to your previous actions against me. But because you suffer such stupidity, I decided to spare you." Mimi smiled.
Almost instantly everyone widened their eyes shocked. She...she could prove they were real?
If what she had said was true, and the contents on her phone genuinely were the Honoshino project she wasn't merely granting the woman a significant favor, she was undoubtedly saving her life!
The Honoshino project represents a significant project the company invested millions in, for them to suddenly lose information they'd undoubtedly lose a lot.
Being responsible for its downfall, the outcome wouldn't be pleasant.
"I'll only say this once, so listen carefully," Mimi's visible expression darkened yet a serene expression remained on her face. "You try stepping on my foot once, I'll run you over ten times as much."
Mimi's seductive cherry lips curled, thin strands of flowing hair falling in front of her face.
Once those words were spoken, the woman couldn't help but tremble uncontrollably.
As much as the woman wanted to argue back fiercely no words were able to come out of her mouth as Mimi sneered down at her.
For the first time, she experienced what it felt like to fear someone to such a considerable extent that she felt like her soul would jump out of its body!
Unexpectedly, a set of steady noble footsteps echoed in the direction of the crowd.
