Olivia didn't want to open her eyes. She knew it was finally morning but she wanted to stay under the sheets a little bit longer. "I know you're awake." Eli called out from the tent's entrance. "No I'm not." she mumbled back before she shoved her face into the comforter.
Eli chuckled and pulled the blanket right off her "I like the view but we still have a 3 hours drive before we get back into the city." Olivia groaned and sat up, she looked at Eli and was disappointed that he was already dressed and ready to go. "Come on I need to pack everything up and you need to eat... especially if i did knock you up last night." he said with a big grin.
Olivia instantly blushed and tried looking for her clothes. Eli watched her closely and after she searched for a few minutes he started to laugh. "Sorry love but I have your clothes I just wanted to watch you like that for a little bit longer."
....
They were finally on the road and Olivia held onto Eli tightly. She was still pissed of at him about his action from that morning and refused to talk to Eli after she slapped him hard.
The drive back to the city was definitely slower then when they went to the field for the night and Olivia was thankful. Every landmark they passed she tighten her grip around Eli waist, letting the fear creep into her heart. They stopped at a gas station 15 minutes out from the city. Eli stopped Olivia from taking her helmet of and lifted his face shield.
"I don't want people to recognize you just yet. I want you to come home with me first and tomorrow morning we will go into the office together. I don't want that witch to find out your alive and back in the city just yet." he said sincerely. Olivia nodded and kept her helmet on.
After Eli gassed up his bike he walked up to Olivia and tapped her on the shoulder. "It's time to go." Olivia shook her head no vigorously "I'm scared." she answered back. Eli hugged Olivia and tried to give her some strength. "If your afraid of what my family will say then let's talk to my mom first she won't be shocked." he said mischievously.
Olivia started punching his shoulder "You moron how can you joke so much today?" she shouted. Eli caught her wrist mid air and brought their helmets together. "Because I was nothing but a hallow shell without you... I am so happy right now that I could careless what anyone else will say, so trust me and come home."
Olivia sighed and let her shoulder drop. She took one more look behind her and saw the endless road, her blissful time out in the country was no over and there were only two weeks left before the debutante. She needed to stop thinking selfishly and face Agni head on. If not for herself, then for her father and two sisters.
"Alright lets go." she said with determination. Eli nodded and walked her back to the bike firmly holding onto her hand. Once they got on the bike, Eli revved it up "Hey Eli." she called out over the roaring of the engine. "Thank you for distracting me." Eli lifted his face shield and looked back "I have no idea what you're talking about." he yelled cheerfully. He brought down his shield and drove of towards his family's estate.
....
"Eli you lied!" Olivia yelled from the dog pile on top of her. Eli could not stop laughing as he started banging the wall. They both had no idea how everyone was going to react to her sudden appearance but this was beyond their imagination.
Mrs. Delmira was the one who answered the door and couldn't help but scream at the top of her lungs. The scream called every person that was close by to the foyer and soon enough everyone was hugging her, family and staff alike and the weight was too much for Olivia to hold herself up. Everyone's hugs and shouts brought her body downwards and she collapsed onto the ground.
Once everyone had their fill they all started getting up and moved away so to give her some breathing room. "You're not dead!" Mrs. Delmira sobbed as she helped Olivia off the ground. Olivia looked at everyone's faces and gave them a sweet smile. "No I'm not."
"Someone go get Samantha and Edmond from the garden." Mr. Delmira shouted and Olivia's body tensed up immediately. She didn't know how to react in front of Edmond. a million thoughts went through her head when she heard them running towards her.
"Princess!" Edmond shouted as he brought her in for an embrace. Tears were flowing down his face after he let go of her. He dropped to his knees and prostrated himself. "I'm so sorry you had to go through all that but it kept you safe. You're safe... thank god you're safe." he bellowed as his sobs matched his cries.
Eli stopped laughing instantly and looked at Olivia in confusion. Olivia bit her lip and looked at Edmond "Please Edmond it's alright, there was no real damage done and I caught on to your plan afterwards! Plus you did it to keep Samantha and the baby safe right?" she said worriedly as she tried to lift Edmond of the ground.
Eli looked furious as he started to storm his way towards the two but Samantha cut him off "Eli please calm down. I'm guessing Olivia didn't tell you anything but we all know what happened. Edmond told us everything that happened that night this morning." she said calmly.
Eli eyes flashed murder "What happened that night Olivia." he demanded. Olivia looked at Eli with pitiful eyes and decided to cover Edmond's body with her own. "He was ordered to kill me, shot me with a rubber bullet but I'm guessing he tried to refuse the task and Agni took Samantha hostage!" she shouted as she clung on to Edmond's massive body.
Eli was ready to tear the two apart and start beating the shit out of Edmond but Mr. Delmira stepped in and held him back. "You scum bag she almost died! There is a scar from where you shot her! I'll kill you!" he started yelling as spit went flying everywhere.
Olivia dared herself to look at him and was shocked that he looked positively rabid. She tightened his grip onto Edmond's body and started to cry. "He's my beloved family member please don't hurt him Eli!" she shouted at the top of her lungs. Eli stopped fighting to break free from his father's hold and settled down. "It's Agni's doing not Edmond's he's bound to obey her please understand." she said between her sobs.
Samantha walked over and placed a gentle hand on her back. Olivia tensed up and peeked up towards her. Samantha's smiling face relieved her and she let go of Edmond's body and sat on the ground. Edmond uncurled his body and sat up. He looked at Olivia sorrowfully and tried to give her a smile.
"Princess..." he whispered and Olivia looked up towards his face "You're back.... I'm so happy you're back... and I'm also free from Agni." Olivia's heart jumped through leaps and bounds. She lounged forward and started crying against his chest. Edmond stroked her hair and everyone watched the touching scene silently.
....
It was finally night fall and Olivia was getting ready for bed. She was sleeping with Samantha tonight as Edmond had an important mission to accomplish and Samantha didn't want to be alone. Olivia looked at Samantha curiously as she got changed into her night gown.
"You're not showing yet." she said sadly as Samantha tied up her hair. "Of course I am! I'm 14 weeks in and I have this little bulge now." she said bitterly as she puffed up her cheeks and pointed at her abdomen. Olivia laughed at her reaction and instantly apologized. "Is it scary?" she asked as she wiped her tears away.
Samantha sat on the bed and looked at Olivia seriously "Are you expecting?" she asked her. Olivia raised her hands and started to shake her head no. Samantha narrowed her eyes "Why are you asking?" Olivia sighed and let her body fall back onto the bed.
"I just wanted to know what it was like. You're going to be a mother and having to take care of another life is so... I don't know... unreal I guess? It's just how will you know what you are doing is the right thing? How do you know that everything will be ok in the end?" she asked with low spirit.
Samantha laid down beside her and looked up at the ceiling "This sounds more like you wanting to know if you're doing the right thing tomorrow morning." she asked with a sigh. Olivia sat up and looked at Samantha. "No! I mean no... yes... I'm sorry I'm so rude!" she said as put her hands over her face and laid back on the bed.
"I can't tell you whether what you are doing is right or wrong but what I can tell you with absolute certainty that Agni is a f*cking demon! She needs to be taken down and sent to prison for what she has done!" she said sternly. Olivia let her hands drop beside her head and looked up to the ceiling.
"Are you ok? Did she do anything to you?" Olivia asked slowly. Samantha gave a deeper sigh "No, I wish she did that we could have thrown that in her face but I found out later that their was an assassin tailing me for a week waiting for his order to attack.... that woman knows how to hide in the shadows and that is more scary in my mind then giving birth to an assassin's child." she said the last part with a grin and faced Olivia.
"Oh but you know your baby is going to be the most cutest thing in the world!" she answered back happily. Samantha's eyes were now shinning "Once Edmond is completely free we will have a house built close by and he will work as a bodyguard and I will keep the Little Garden running for Eli."
Olivia started to kick her legs in the air as she squealed "I'm so happy for you guys! Oh! ou can use your baby as a flower girl or ring barer at your wedding! Can you see it a little thing walking down the aisle in front of you!" Samantha's face started to glow "Oh my god yes! Will have to wait a little bit longer but it will be so worth it!" she shouted back. Both girls spent a good chunk of the night laughing and talking about their future.
It was really late now and Samantha could barely keep her eyes open. Olivia turned off the lights and crawled back into bed. She grabbed on to Samantha's out stretched hand "Good night Samantha." she whispered as the woman closed her eyes for the night. "Goodnight." Samantha mumbled back before she started to softly snore.
Olivia stared at the ceiling for a little bit longer before she allowed sleep to take over. Tomorrow was going to be a big day.
