Marcus just sat there cursing himself. But finally decided to look at the mystery reward.
At first, he looked around on the ground trying to find this mystery reward. He then realized that this mystery reward was not physical. But he couldn't figure out how to activate the reward.
Finally, Marcus shouted mentally "mystery reward" and a system screen popped up.

Marcus was dumbfounded. Wasn't this just an Rpg system? He scanned the system window for anything that popped out to him. "Ha found it"
Marcus focused on the passive skills. The first one he looked at was Consumer.
{Consumer: when the user consumes any living being he has the chance to gain skill, attributes, and even characteristics from them.}
"Holy shit this skill is fucking awesome."
Marcus was overjoyed. He couldn't wait to check out the other skill.
{Quick learner: Grants user an unusually fast paste at leveling that will continue to grow has user levels}
"Holy shit another great skill." Marcus couldn't have been happier. But then he looked up and around his surroundings. A dark and damp cavern filled with baby goblins that just so happened to be his brothers and sisters. Marcus's mood plummeted.
By the time Marcus checked his new system and skills, about half an hour went by. Marcus being a newborn goblin was very tired.
Marcus at first was uncomfortable going to sleep in the cavern. But his tired newborn body wouldn't allow him to stay awake anymore.
When Marcus awoke the next morning he got a notification. {User sleep for 12 hours health fully regenerated. User gained +5 Hp, +5 Mp, +5 strength, +5 Constitution, and +5 defense.}
Marcus was extremely pleased with this. When he looked at his body he realized that he was now a goblin that was fully grown but also still younger than an adult. A few moments later and goblin wearing animals skins with a wooden spear with a stone tip walk in. He screeched at the top of his lungs waking all of the goblins that had also grown up in their sleep. He began to usher them out of the side room into the main hall.
More geared goblins stood on one end of the tunnel shoving the twenty or so goblins down the hall until they came to the main entrance. It was still early morning so the light was not to bad. The entrance led right into a dense forest.
Marcus could hear birds chirping and other forestry sounds just like back on earth. But he knew if there were goblins in this world there were many more creatures that awaited them.
Most of the goblins looked clueless as to what to do. The geared goblins started to laugh at the young goblins. One of the geared goblins walks toward one of the weaker looking goblins a slit his belly open with a stone knife. He reached inside the goblin that was now screaming a pulled out his intestinal organ and through them at the other goblins.
It was almost like a switch was turned on. The goblin nearest rush forward and started to rip the goblin to peace. At that moment Marcus realized something about his know world the strong service and the weak die, it was the one law that rules this forest.
If Marcus wanted to survive he needs to get stronger and he needs to do it fast. Instead of rushing towards the poor goblin Marcus turned around and ran into the forest. Marcus ran until he couldn't hear the sounds anymore.
Marcus began to look for a large branch that could be used as a handle. After a few moments of looking, he found one that was perfect. He then looked for two stone that he could hit together and make a sharp rock. After he got his sharp rock he jammed it into the end of his handle. Once he did he got a notification.
{User created a stone spear, grade poor. User learned weaponsmithing skill.}
If someone would have looked at Marcus at this time the would have goosebumps going down their spin. They would have seen a creepy little green man smiling from ear to ear that almost looked demonic.
Now that Marcus had protection he felt a little better about his situation. He began to stalk his way through the forest looking for prey.
The first thing he came upon was a rabbit-like creature. It looks like a rabbit but its body was spotted with scales, it also had fang from hell.
Creature freaked Marcus out but he still stalked be hide it and aimed for its neck. Marcus thrusted with all of his might. The spear tip hit a fur patch and pierced its way into the creatures neck. The creatures spasmed for a bit but soon stop and laid dead.
{User killed a reptilian rabbit. Plus 500xp. User leveled up two levels.}
Marcus simply nodded his head at this notification. His next objective was to eat his first kill.
