Marcus looked at the dead rabbit and decided he would start with the legs first. He reached done an grab one of the legs and put his foot on the rabbit's main body. The rabbit was about half the size of Marcus which made it quite hard to pull one of the legs off.
Marcus pulled with all of his might but the thick hide of the rabbit made it challenging to rip the leg off. Marcus decided to make another tool. A small stone knife. Marcus searched the area of around his kill and found the necessary materials to make the knife. Once Marcus crafted his new weapon a new notification popped up.
{User craft small stone knife, grade poor, weaponsmith skill leveled up to 2.}
Marcus walked to the kill and began to slice to the hide. Once he started on the fur it was easier but when he hit the patches of scales the knife had problems cutting through it. Marcus finally got through the hide and manage to get the leg off.
Marcus's first bite actually wasn't that bad. The rabbit's flesh had a sweet and sour taste to it. This being the first thing Marcus ate in this new world he devoured the leg in seconds. Even when Marcus was done with the first leg his new body was still starving for more. Marcus devoured the corpse in just a few minutes.
{ User gained +3 in dexterity.}
Marcus guessed that he gained points was because the rabbit was very fast so he gained some of the points from it. Marcus also notice a small change after eating the rabbit. He gained a few inches in height and his body be gain to fill out. When he looked at his arms and legs they had a more muscle on them. He also notice his teeth became longer and sharper.
Marcus looked at what remained of the rabbit. It's hide and the bones. Marcus began to shape the hide into a vest that loosely fitted on him. Once he was done with it he put it one and smiled in glee. Now he already had more armor then the adult goblins back at the cavern.
{User gained Armorsmith skill.}
Marcus looked at the bones from the rabbit and decided to craft a new spear and a set of daggers.
{User crafted bone spear, grade common, User crafted bone daggers, grade common, weaponsmith skill leveled up to level 4.}
Now Marcus had better weapons than the adult goblins. Marcus decided to look at his stats again.

{User gained skill Appraisal }
Marcus immediately checked this new skill out with a gleefully face.
{Appraisal: allows the user to know the levels and grade of living being, tools, weapons, armor, and miscellaneous objects.}
"Another great skill!!!" Marcus was ecstatic about this new skill. What Marcus didn't realize was him shouting could lead predictors to him.
The nest thing Markus saw was a fire red fox come through the nearest brush. Once Marcus looked at the fox he saw its name and the level above the fox's head.
{Fire Fox lv 6}
As soon as Marcus saw its level he knew he was in deep shit. Its level was doubled his. Marcus immediately took a stance with his bone spear preparing for the foxes first attack. But he wasn't ready for what it's first attack was.
The fox open its mouth wide open and spewed a small fireball at Marcus. Marcus dodged to the right barely missing the fire ball. Marcus knew he could use his spear and keep a distance so he switched to his daggers and charged at the fox. He sliced both of his daggers at the fox's neck and managed to make two small gashes across its neck.
This got the fox really pissed about this weak little goblin defending itself against this mighty fox. It charged Marcus and pounced on top of him. The foxes goal was the neck of Marcus but instead bit into the top of Marcus's shoulder. This caused Marcus to drop one of his daggers. Marcus used the other dagger that was still in his hand to start staging the fox viciously.
Without the other dagger, Marcus decided to use his new teeth and began to bite into the fox's neck. Marcus and the fox tumbled around the ground attacking each other.
Marcus could feel that the foxes had the strength that was at least doubled his if not tripled. But after a while of Marcus stabbing and biting into the fox the fox began to weaken. Marcus could feel the power of the fox slowly draining. This caused Marcus to stab fast and to bit hard.
Just after a few moments, the fox had bled out and Marcus was assaulted with a new notification.
{ Hidden quest completed, win a fight as the clear underdog special evolution unlocked at level ten. User leveled up 4 levels.}
Marcus came out of this fight with many rewards. This was the first real battle Marcus had been in and it really showed just how weak goblins are. Because of Marcus's armor, he managed to come out of this fight unharmed, except some minor scrapes.
