In refining and blacksmithing a metal is repeatedly heated and treated through various means and materials to increase purity. Even in alchemy the ingredients are heated to burn away or separate the impurities. In human cultivation, a person tempers his body through Qi, Spirit Energy and so on, to remove it's impurities. Even when ascending a body goes through tribulation to burn off the impurities of the lower world.
So how could Verserys let his planet take over the role of Universe Treasure without a proper tempering. And what could be better than Chaos, the source of everything?
With his soul energy and Chaos energy covering the planet he let it temper in the Chaos. The wild energy would pass the through his barrier turning a bit more temperate. And he was using this to burn off all impurities and unnecessary materials. Along with all this the planet was slowly absorbing the chaos energy and would soon be bake to handle it alone. But it was still few million years away.
While all this happened, Verserys decided it was time to start the plan two. His Universe was now growing and it would at least be a million or so years way before proper sustainable planets would form. Even then the condition of his Universe would not be suitable for his life. So for next few million years he was ironically free.
Even important things like creation of Planes, Rules, Samsara, and so on, would require the Universe to become stable.
So he started with the second part of his grand plan. Infiltration, Control and Destruction.
With a devilish grin he sent a small part of his Soul away, speeding through the Chaos.
"Very Soon... We will be together again"
The Blood Universe was a odd piece of creation. It was not a single Universe but a Binary Cojoined Universe, that is two Universe were joined to each other but not fully merged, to finally formed a single Universe. It was an extremely rare occurrence, that even Verserys had only seen and heard about one.
No one was exactly sure about the why's and how's? But the most popular theory was the similar set of Rules. Both Universe had almost a similar set of rules. It was different enough to be Unique but at the same time similar enough to be common. So maybe that's why the Universe had not fully merged but remained joined. The similar rules Merging with each other, while different rules rebelling each other.
And this led to another problem. Despite being a single Universe, the two factions of both Universes were at constant war with each other. Both trying to out do each other and establish themselves superior. This kept the Universe's strength among the lower levels, despite having the capability to surpass medium level Universes and reach high level Universe.
And that's why Verserys decided to use this Universe. The Universe didn't had large number of super experts but had the capability to support them. So if he managed to control this Universe, he would be able to control a large number of Super Experts.
And another interesting feature was Bloodline Cultivation. The cultivators in this Universe cultivated their bloodline. Stronger bloodlines resulted in stronger cultivators. This made the lower level cultivation extremely easy but higher level cultivation almost impossible. That's why the Universe's cultivators were always in hunt for unique bloodlines and treasures to purify and amplify their bloodline. Using the last two he should be able to control a sizeable amount of cultivators.
His soul soon reached the gigantic Binary Universe. The two Universe very much looked like two rivers made of star and light swirling around each other in an eight figure. He couldn't help but sigh at this marvel. Every time he looked at this he would feel tiny. Shaking himself out of reverie, his soul quietly entered the Universe. And no one learnt of it for better or worse.
The kingdom of Black Sea was a small city situated in the lower part of the Southern Region of the Anasta Continent. Anasta Continent was itself one of the two large continents of the Remus Planet.
The small city was popularly known as Salt City due to the numerous salt mines and salt pans nearby. The city itself was a hub for salt export and a economic hub. Everyday several ships carrying salts and other minerals would leave the port trading it for grains, furs and gems from the Snow Kingdom. And controlling the majority of this trade was the Carasean Family. A mercantile family which slowly shifted from inland trade to sea trade in the past few decades. Apparently the shift was successful and the Carasean Family could count itself as one of the wealthiest family among the whole of Southern Region.
Currently a beautiful lady was slowly sipping tea in a small Courtyard which was part of the huge Carasean Family Mansion Complex. Her stomach had a small bump and it was easily understandable that she was at least few months pregnant. Most of the Courtyard was a garden covered with beautiful flowers. Little butterflies and small birds were playfully flying between the flowers.
Sudden the quiet was broken when a maid came rushing in, " Sister! How many times I have to remind you that no sitting outside. It's winter and what if you catch cold?"
"Silly girl, I am not that weak..."
"But what about the kid! What if he gets sick!"
Venessa looked at the sister's anxious appearance before bursting out with laughter.
Looking at the laughing lady the girl's face went red before she humphed and puffed her face and ran away saying, " I will complain to brother! Let him punish you..."
Laughing at the running figure Venessa left the Courtyard while being helped by a maid who appeared out of nowhere.
But no one noticed a small bright wisp enter the pregnant lady's stomach.
