20XX, August 31, Sunday; My room, Konner House
It was so frustrating.
So, it was the start of our new school year tomorrow but Eli and I spent part of the summer at aunt new house. Together with that co-worker of hers too and his two daughters.
We've actually been talking with uncle the past few months even before the summer break, and it was like having a rational conversation with an adult. It was a little weird.
These days, we often talk to him instead of our aunt, then he passes it more softly to aunt, so we were all happy. The kids were great too. They were not as cute as Eli when he was a kid, but they were better than the other kids I've encountered. A little too disciplined though. Even though Eli and I also grew up with a dad in the police force, the chief of police even, we were never that well behaved. But it was not a problem to babysit them.
Oh yeah, they were Amy and Dana. Amy is eight while Dana is six, and I actually thought they were twins at first.
Anyway, aside from babysitting the two, Eli and I were still focusing on our studies this summer break since we were both graduating next year, that I never thought of my pending plan on what to do with Rick, as well as Chase, in case I found out what was his share in this. Just kidding. Not really.
I never dreamt of that night again but I especially kept remembering that night since it had already been a year since it happened. Therefore, it was really frustrating that I couldn't finish them all off.
While I was thinking about that night, I was actually filled with regret. The heavy feeling that I never got to kill two of them was saddening. Then, I realized it might have been better if I never killed them and just made them suffer instead. Like cut off their balls so that they couldn't rape other women again. Maybe I'll do that with the next. He should have the special treatment anyway.
Although that was not what I thought was frustrating earlier. You see, when we returned to the Konner House this morning, our neighbor caught us even when I tried to walk fast to our door before she could start talking. Eli was already carrying two bags behind me so I couldn't lighten my load to move faster.
Mrs. Cruz was a chatterbox so almost everybody tries to avoid her, since when she started talking, it was difficult to make her stop.
Fortunately, her news got me interested that I let Eli go in first. She then told me that a guy visited the house frequently while we were gone, but it stopped just a few days ago.
She called him a handsome boy, with pretty blue eyes. However, the boy was rude according to her, since he just stayed inside his car with the windows closed while he waited for a few minutes. She even offered him some snacks but he still wouldn't open the windows after that first day they talked.
Well, I wouldn't blame him for doing that. But what could Rick have wanted with me? I assume it was him. Maybe Chase told him his suspicions too. Too bad I wasn't able to catch him when he was still in town but I still haven't finalized my plans for him.
After talking to Mrs. Cruz, I went inside and just replied some nonsense gossip to Eli when he asked what the neighbor said.
