Boom!~
Tanya shot into the room, her icy sword leaping out of her dantian as she grasped it and dashed towards her husband. However, she came to a stop as she saw no one there.
Davis sat up, blinking at Tanya.
"Did I startle you?"
"You startled everyone."
Hearing Davis's question, Tanya simultaneously realized that there was no intruder and that it was just Davis releasing his killing intent.
"I thought someone broke in to assassinate you."
She shook her head, informing Stella that nothing was of concern, as the latter was alarmed but still kept an eye outside.
"Well," Davis pursed his lips before leaning back on the bed again, "I admit that it was unlike me to exude killing intent without an opponent present. I guess I lost my composure."
