Davis raised his hand and wiped Tia's tears.
He didn't know whether she had cemented the experiences of her other self, but what she was feeling couldn't be dismissed by him. He called out her name softly, trying to console her.
Tia stopped her tears as she rubbed her eyes and shook her head before forcing a smile.

"There's nothing much I can do when I'm already taking a big step with you. If I don't stop with you, my wives's gaze will no longer be the same. They might even try to hide my daughters from me, and I don't blame them because I'm crossing a line."
