Time: 3 days into the war
Location: 25 KM off the Andes Mountain Base
POV: Supreme Admiral Jefferson
''Flight statuses normal, primary engines at full thrust, secondary shields holding.'' the Head Engineer reported, ''ETA 2 MINUTES! ALL MEN PREPARE FOR CONTACT!'' The intercom sounded over HMS Dreadnought. ''Start rotary shields!'' I ordered as I felt a very uncomfortable feeling, which turned out true faster than expected. ''ENEMY STRIKE INBOUND!'' Someone shouted as he pointed out of the window above us. 'Damn, they have already discovered us' I cursed
Soon Two massive hammer-like steel beams, which were sticking outwards vertically from the centre of the ship, started to rotate slowly but steadily. ''Time until impact 120 seconds!'' The engineer shouted as he looked at the rotary shields coming into action. The hammer-like beams started to rotate faster and faster, soon plasma came free from the tips slowly engulfing the HMS Dreadnought. ''Shields at 72%!'', ''Launch the XM-1 Fighter Jets!'' I ordered, 'Even if we perish the planes can save the taskforce.' I said to myself.
Soon the massive beams started to spring so fast the entire hull started to shake like an earthquake, 'Hold! Hold!' I prayed to myself.
''Ten... Nine... Eight... Seven, Six... Five... Four... Three... Two... One!''
The head engineer counted down. It was eerily silent for a second before massive cracking noises came from the airship, the energy beam successfully impacted our shields
It seemed as if time slowed down for me, massive cracks appeared on the hull and rotary shields, the plasma shot everywhere as the ship became unstable. ''We are being pushed towards the Ocean! Altitude dropping 20 meters a second!'' the navigator shouted as he watched the Altitude Meter go down rapidly in despair. ''Critical threshold reached! Ship integrity decreasing past safety levels!'' the AI Announced.
All men looked at me with eyes full of hope, yet I saluted them before closing my eyes. 'This is the end of the HMS Dreadnought, and as her Captain, I shall go down with her!' I steeled my heart and grabbed the Microphone, ''ALL MEN! ABANDON SHIP! I REPEAT ABANDON SHIP!''. Soon All personnel ran towards the escape capsules. ''Escape capsules 1-10 launched, 11-20 launched, 21-30 Launched.
I slowly opened my eyes again, expecting to be the last remaining yet to my surprise, all men on the bridge were still standing in place saluting me. I laughed as I have never laughed in my life, ''Men, you are as foolish as this old Admiral!'' They laughed with me and as we laughed the plasma beam broke through the shields, disintegrated the entire ship including those who remained on board...

POV: Rudolf
We sat silently around the conference table as satellite footage came in showing the HMS dreadnought being obliterated. ''HOW DARE THEY!'' one of the newer generals slammed his fist on the table in anger. ''That was designed and created by the Marshall himself!'' he ranted. ''Silence!'' Rommel ordered the General, but also Rommel's wrinkled face was showing an annoyed expression.
I calmed everyone down in the conference room, ''Gentlemen, we have almost completed the evacuation procedure, our economy Is producing the most advanced weaponry we have but as the HMS dreadnought showed we are still lacking in many areas. But Werner von Braun has given us a plausible way to fight. Von Braun please.'' I said as I sat down.
I massive projector screen popped up as Werner von Braun moved towards it. ''Like you all know our greatest obstacle is our inability to fight in space effectively like our enemy. So our research team is now focussing everything on finding such a way to launch large objects/spacecraft into space and in the future, travel faster than light (FTL). The reason we include both is that they share one critical resource and or material necessary for them both to work, which is Negative energy. Negative energy, if it exists, allows us to generate positive gravity. This positive gravity we can use to propel ships of massive size into orbit without the usage of chemical rockets, second using positive energy we can make a hypothetical warp drive. Through accelerating time-space in front of the ship and decelerating time-space behind the ship. Creating a bubble around the ship it is like riding a wave on the ocean but this wave is made by us. So in the end, we also don't break the laws of physics as we don't travel faster than light by normal acceleration means but instead bend space-time to make us 'go faster than light'.''
'I barely get any of it...' I laughed to myself, ''The theory did go from impossible to plausible due to all formulas checking out as long as negative energy exists and we can harvest it.'' Werner von Braun bowed towards the people in the conference room. ''As long as you can get our men and weaponry up there we do not care about the costs and sacrifices.'' Rommel said as he stood up to leave, ''Uhm... The estimated cost of one gram of anti-matter is one quadrillion Euros. Harvesting hypothetical negative energy is... unknown including the costs.'' Von Braun coughed embarrassingly, ''WHAT!'' Hartmann nearly got a heart attack from that number, ''YOU KNOW OUR ENTIRE WEALTH ON THIS PLANET IS 500 TRILLION US DOLLARS, MAKING ANTI-MATTER COSTS US TWICE THE WEALTH OF OUR ENTIRE PLANET!'' Hartmann shouted.
I rubbed my temples as I heard that price, 'Our current budget is on average only 26 trillion US dollars (Adding all current world nation's (in our world) revenue together, the full number is around 25.895.081.683.197 Dollars), that will never be enough, our military already takes 50% of it now, but still, with 5 trillion US dollars a year of investment must yield something!' I thought to myself. ''Werner Von Braun, the Government will allocate you 5 Trillion Euros a year for research and an upfront 20 Trillion Euros from the Treasury,'' I said as I folded my hands and laid my chin on them.
Everyone was stupefied at that number, Hartmann fainted right there and then. ''Your Project will be Code named Project Fury, for you will be the one to lead us to get revenge!'' I said as I threw a clipboard with Project Fury written on it on the table. ''Meeting adjourned.'' I walked out of the conference room towards my office. I lit up a cigarette as I passed by the other offices.
'I wonder what Kyle would have done.' I thought as I sat down in my chair whilst cleaning my glasses with a tissue. Turning around and looking through my office window I saw a massive painting of the Marshall hanging from the roof. Under it, hundreds of Red Skulls were training, preparing for the 1st excursion set two months from now. ''May the Marshall guide us to his army in Hell!'' I said to myself while I saluted the Painting, a tear rolled down my right cheek as I was remembering his guidance, he was the largest pillar upholding our ideals and bring mental support when times looked dark.
