Chereads / Reincarnated into a Shingle Sea Urchin / Chapter 56 - Galan Spinos

Chapter 56 - Galan Spinos

The weeks went by chaotically. The horrible winds kept the ships at the front line, making me stay constantly on high alert. The waters swallowed up and destroyed islands like never before. The Qi and elements has become thin that I can barely maintain my cultivation. Space is weak enough that the tsunami is causing space to crack.

My benefactor hasn't regained his senses yet despite his eyes being open. I could only wait and hope that he can wake up sooner, to get me out of this mess. The ship is on the verge of running out of energy to protect us from the outside.

I noticed the gravity was decreasing over time, but I didn't know why. But the waves became higher as a result and increasingly more violent.

A divine sense spread over the area and I immediately caught note of it. Activating my talisman, my appearance and cultivation changed back to it's average looks. The divine sense locked onto our ship before an old man descended. He had white hair and was half bald. His body seemed very skinny and wrinkled, but full of vitality.

My inside expression changed to hatred, because I recognized this old man.

"I never thought I would see you again, Katherine," said the old man who revealed a grin.

"Galan Spinos," I said as I spat those two words. My icy aura was released, freezing the ships interior.

"You didn't think we'd find you? We figured out what talisman you were using and can detect it's fluctuations. It was only a matter of time before we would find you," he said with a shrug, seemingly not affected by the freezing temperature.

"Even if I die, I'll never forgive you all!" I yelled as she stepped forward to attack.

"Same here. I've been coveting your complete ice laws for such a long time. I should collect interest and return them to the Extreme Yin Empire to gain recognition," he said as he chuckled. He sent out a simple attack, and all the ice was blown away easily. I hit the back wall and spat some blood out that quickly froze.

"Katherine-Katherine," he said shaking his head with a pitiful expression,"I've been in the saint realm for a long time. Even if you're a cultivating genius, it would still take thousands of years to match me. Obediently hand them over and we can settle all out past grievances back at the Extreme Yin Empire," he said nonchalantly, as he sent another attack over.

"DAMN IT! BENEFACTOR, DIDN'T YOU PROMISE TO HELP ME GET REVENGE?!" I yelled towards my benefactor who was still staring at the ceiling.

"Benefactor?" he said as he looked at the corner where a humanoid figure as black as the night laid on the ground. Galan couldn't help but be stunned that his divine sense didn't detect him. But there was no fluctuations, like he was a speck of dust.

"Interesting, I'll need to thoroughly take a look at you later," he said as he sent out an energy hand that intended to wrap around him.

Finally, he made a response. I saw his eyes instantly turn towards Galan before the hand was easily destroyed. Galan's face turned pale and he tried to retreat. However, a black ray of light left the benefactor's eye that turned into a domain that surrounded Galan. His face turned to anger as he tried to leave. But in a few seconds, his body shriveled up as his blood essence and energies were sucked up.

Galan tried to apologize and beg for mercy, but he was indifferently turned to dust as his energies entered the benefactor's body before things went back to normal. I sighed and wiped away the icy blood from my mouth.

All the elders and core disciples of the Extreme Yin Empire are too powerful. Each one of them are somewhere in the Saint realm. Even the previous headmaster was at the peak of Saint God but she could never pass that barrier.

Most cultivators devour medicines nowadays to reach higher heights even though it's detrimental to their own foundation and bodies. But there's always the talented ones that manage to still reach heights. Although it's impossible to surpass the saint realm, the Ancient Clans have accumulated a large amount of saint cultivators over their ten million century history.

It's always why they're a dreadful force to be reckoned with in the Immortal Realm. Offending them will result in thousands of saint cultivators attacking the unfortunate one.

I watched as benefactor's eyes returned to their normal position to stare at the ceiling. I couldn't help but be a little fearful seeing how easily Galan turned to dust. But seeing the spatial ring on the floor, I overcame my fear and quickly went over to look inside.

I wiped away the divine sense and slowly eroded the restrictions placed on it. After a day of constant bombardment, the restrictions came lose and shattered. I quickly sent my divine sense through and couldn't help but exclaim in happiness.
