Chapter 6 - Book 1- Chapter Six: The Vismark Merchants Group

Book 1- Chapter Six: The Vismark Merchants Group

I missed my former body. My physical body, I mean. At least, with my original body, I can control my expression more.

Maybe that was why Jin was able to read me this easily. Because this body wasn't fully assimilated to my soul yet. Or my soul hasn't fully assimilated into this body yet - who knows.

"Jenna, why are you so excited?" He had asked me a couple of seconds ago when I was thinking of the necessary ingredient for making a pill with the Mystic Flower.

How the hell does he know that I was kind of excited to start refining pills? For the first time since coming to this world and living as Jenna Loveheart, I will be able to refine my first alchemy pill with this body. So, I was slightly excited.

To think that Jin would have been able to read me that easily, however, was a shock. Slightly.

You know, not even my Soul Beasts were able to read my expressions that fast. They were with me for more than a thousand years before they could read my expression like how Jin did it. Not only that, when Jin did it, it was so natural to him that it surprised both of us.

If my hands were shaking somewhat in surprise and something else then I have no one to blame but myself and Jin.

"Jenna? Are you okay?" He asked, worried and a little panicked. I took a shaking breath and nodded. It seems like I can't control my emotions as well as I thought in this body either.

Jin looked worried for a couple more seconds before he let it drop.

Why? Because right now, the group of people that I had sensed was right in front of our 'door', gapping with mouth opened in shocked and looking very worried about the darkened earth from the fire.

I can even hear them asking if there's any survival with a worried tone and aura around them.

Seems like they aren't bandits. That's for sure. Their auras have tastes of bloodlust but it wasn't dark like bandits and other grimmer professions.

"Boss, what should we do? Our contact with Jade Loveheart is still active! If anything happens to her, then the one to suffer will be us!" A voice called out panicking.

"I can't feel her mana anymore... Damn, this is going to be a pain." A slightly colder and older voice speak up.

For some odd reason, they all didn't sense either Jin nor I from behind the wall. Well, the reason was obvious but they don't know that.

"Boss, what should we do? If anything happens to Lady Jade, wouldn't...." He trails off as his aura surged in pain and desperation.

Hmm? Lady Jade? Oi, what's going on? I might have made up that Jenna's dear mother Jade wasn't someone normal but I don't know who she truly was okay?

So... Lady Jade...

I can feel a headache coming.

"Boss, what should we do? Lady Jade's the only one that knew how to heal Melinda. At this rate..."

"Shut up." A near desperation voice called out. Pain and worried was contained within.

I and Jin exchanged look before Jin looks up at the sky with a resigned look in his eyes and nodded.

"I'll go get the kids," He slumped as he sulks toward the secret passage, leaving me outside to deal with those guys.

I went to 'open' the 'door'. The wall of barricade wood cracked open in half as loud groans could be heard echoing. All of the man outside the gate twitches as they took out their weapons.

At least until they landed their eyes on me, of course.

"Jenna?" A voice asked that I confirmed to be the leader asked, in both surprise and happiness.

... They knew me.

"Who are you guys?" I asked, in my Jenna Loveheart- kinder- personality.

The boss, whom I figured was a healer by his aura, look like he was slapped and then kicked in his ball.

"... Jenna, I'm your mother, Jade's, Merchant Contractor." He introduces himself formally as he bends his knees slightly to get to my height.

Merchant Contractor? Ah, I recalled now.

According to the memories that Jenna has, her mother does have a merchant contractor that came here once every three years. She would sell low-level potions, pills, spices, dried herbs, and other smaller things to him and in return for something else. And according to the memory, his group of merchants was the only group to ever come here.

In fact, ever since Jenna's mother decided to live in this village was the start of this group of merchant coming here.

She got a connection with this group then.

Which mean that there might really be something else to this Jade Loveheart more than ever.

"...And who are you?" I asked the man.

"Ah, my apology. My name is Clapton Vismark Prisca. I am the captain of this merchant group, the Vismark Merchant Group." The man introduces himself with a small smile on his face. His aura wasn't high in purity but it wasn't a dark or wicked aura. Basically, this man wasn't strong but he wasn't weak, either. Not weak in mental, spiritual wise and personality wise.

Really, for a healer, it would have been better if his soul was purer but oh well. I guess compared to the soul of the adults besides him, he was a lot purer.

The rest introduce themselves in short order too.

The Leader, Boss or Director, was Clapton Vismark Prisca. He was already an old man in his 80s but looking like he was only in his late 20s.

The Vice-Captain, or the Vice-Director, Hylian Hawk, was slightly older looking compared to Captain Clapton but his voice was more gentler and his manner was more elegant. His looks and mannerism were fit for someone who should be quietly reading in the afternoon and drinking tea instead of coming out here as a merchant. He doesn't look his age either. Rather than 80s years old, he looked like he's in his early 40s. But then again. who am I to judge people because of their age and looks.

This guy had this aura of aristocrats that just scream out high-class but surprisingly, he wasn't arrogant nor was he annoyingly full of himself.

The 3rd Seat was a guy called Keith Firecrows. He was oddly silent. In a totally 'My Pace' kind of manner, he introduced himself and then ignored us as he went to do his things. Look like he's the Organizer or something similar for the merchant group.

The 4th Seats was a pair of twins; Starz and Lazzaro Blackwill. Starz was a warrior while Lazzaro was an archer with a long mana bow.

The 5th Seat was a woman goes by Linah Dameti, a mage who specialized in close combat magic using Earth and Water elements.

The 6th Seat was a Mage using the Wood Element system. He was called Aran Crane. He has a twin sister, Aineah Crane, who was a Priest and was the 7th Seat in the Vismark Merchant Group.

The 8th Seat was a guy named Mark Finley. Or what he would like to be called by, Hanz. Hmm? Or was it Mark? Was he called Mark Finley or Hanz Finley? Oh well, whatever. He told me to called him Mark. So, it's Mark.

The 9th Seat was another pretty boy. What? Mark might look like he's in his 30s but that face, yeah, that's a pretty boy's face, alright. So the 9th Seat, Danica Firefly and Keith Firecrows looked a lot alike. Turns out that Keith and Danica were cousins from their mother's sides. Danica was an archer while Keith was a warrior.

The 10th Seat was a name with blazing red hair called Lisley Blazeheart. He's a Fire Mage thru and thru. Lisley Blazeheart's Fire elemental affinity was oddly pure and high. However, his fire mana capacity reservoir was very low.

The rest of the seated Official also introduce themselves but I tune them out. I really don't wanna know them.

Jin came back with the kids. All of them were very weary and alerted by the presences of the adults.

Why? Well, why do you think?

The adults that left them behind after the fire wasn't a very good example.

Aside from that, they were also surprised that my personality has changed somewhat. The first one to notice my personality was Lurin, the boy who looked naive and pure but was secretly a very decisive and perceptive boy, well- after Jin, of course.

I just smile solemnly at him as my answer when he looks my way with a large widen eyes filled with questions.

While the kids and the adults from the merchant group were introducing themselves, again, I lead them to our house.

The wooden house that we built wasn't meant for adults so it wasn't that high, causing Mark, Keith and couple of the taller merchants to hit their foreheads in the door frame.

Afterward, Rebecca helped me organize our things back into their places again. For example, putting the plates, bowls, kitchen utensils back into its places.

And then, we served them some herb water fusion tea.

Everyone was sitting on the floor since there wasn't enough space for everyone. The merchant left their stuff outside while they are all inside.

This caused the house to be jammed pack with barely any room to move.

"Please, have some herbal water," Rebecca said as she passed out some wooden cups and jars of herbal waters.

Basically, water that was boiled with herbs and honey. Making it smell slightly herbal with a taste of sweetness. There were no mana herbs infused in it but it was already naturally fused with magic because of the procedures that it went through.

The herbal water was cold, refreshing, and slightly sweet. Causing the tiredness and stresses that the merchant feels from their journals to release.

"""Haaah,""" They all sigh out loud as they drink the water.

... Wow, so naive. These merchants were so naive. They didn't even check for poison and just drink it.

Me and Jin exchange looks.

It was either because they are all trusting fools or they have poison immunity. Even though we are all kids at the moment, the things that they had seen so far should make them put their guards up. And yet, such a thing didn't happen. Or was it because both I and Jin looked so harmless that they let their guards down?

"Wow, thanks, Rebecca. This is some good tea!" Linah, one of the three female from the merchant said with a bright smile on her face. She's the Water and Wood element mage that specialized in close combat.

"... It isn't tea, Miss Linah," Rebecca answered back, slightly hesitating as she narrowed her brows.

"Hm? Not tea? Then what is this?" Linah asked, completely taking by the adorableness of Rebecca's personality and nature.

"It's herbal water that Jenna made," Rebecca answered as she continues to pass out more jars filled with herbal water.

"Herbal? But it isn't bitter," She replied back as her brows lift up in surprised as she sniffed the water in her wooden cup.

Rebecca looks at Linah and hesitate. She quickly turned toward me and I nodded back. It's not like there's any need to keep the recipe and method a secret.

"Jenna use herbs and boiled it with water after she purified them. And then she froze the herbal water into Ice and change it back into liquid form. That's why it wasn't bitter," Rebecca said as she moves away from the shining eyes of a certain girl.

"..." The whole room, from the adults' sides, was total silence.

"This is made by Jenna?" Captain Clapton asked, feeling slightly amazed.

Every kids nodded with bright smiles on their faces. They aren't hiding how proud they were of me. Their pride was so totally out of place. Jin, stop laughing already!

All of the adults: "..."

I can see Clapton exchange looks with Hylian and Mark.

Ah, the mind of a merchant.

"Jenna, would you mind selling us the herbs you used in this recipe?" Clapton asked.

"No. You cannot use it," I answered him with no hesitation whatsoever.

"Awww," The man whines childishly.

"You don't have the magic elemental attributes to refined the herbs nor do you have the necessary mindset for it," I answered back.

This herbal water that I had created was not normal. The processes that it went through was much like alchemy potion refinement process but it has the need for a more refined control.

Not only do the herbs need a different kind of elemental mana quenching during the process refinement, but it also must be from the same person.

Which mean that the refiner has to have at least four magic aptitudes and attributes. Fire elemental magic, Water Elemental Magic, Wood elemental Magic, and Lightning elemental Magic.

The fire elemental magic was to wash the mallow of the herbs while the water elemental was used to maintain and shield the herbs away from the more dominating aspect of the fire elemental magic.

The wood elemental was used to keep the herb alive and for growth while the Lightning elemental was for purifying the herbs. Afterward, water was summoned and a fire was used to boil them all up while maintaining all of the other elements within the process. With the Wood and the Lightning elemental magic in this process, I don't need sugar or honey to make the herbal water sweet - it's already sweet enough as it was. But, since the kids need nutrition from the honey, I had found some honey for them easily enough.

So, tell me, who in this group has more than one magic elemental? Linah? Sure. But her magic isn't pure enough.

Aineah? Yes, but s/he doesn't have Lightning or Wood element aptitude.

Not only that, his body constitution wasn't right either. All in all, asides from me and Jin, no one else could make this herbal water.

Jin might not even be able to make it either. Why? Well, Jin's not an alchemist. I have a feeling that he might be good at weaponsmithing but alchemy would turn his head over into mud.

Anyway, the captain looked utterly disappointed as he slowly sips on his wooden cup of herbal water.

A couple of minutes later, when everyone has finished their drinks, the captain once again, introduces themselves and what kind of contract they were under with Jade Loveheart.

"This magic contact includes in the once every three-year exchange that was listed in that list," Captain Clapton passed me a list of medicinal herbs that are oddly specific in age and numbers.

Oh? I see. All of these herbs were used for one of the most precious recipes that I know of. However, there's some herbs here that I found it both unnecessary and yet necessary.

Bone Marrowing, Bone Purification, Blood Cleansing, and Mana Veins Strengthening pills recipes.

But... why was their level so low?

Are they really trying to help cultivators with these recipes or mortals? These recipe and herbs aren't even strong or pure enough to help a cultivator cleansing their body. Well, unless that cultivator was only using it in large bathtubs that have purified Spiritual Spring water in it. Otherwise, these herbs in the recipe won't help much, if not at all.

Why was the ingredient so messy, so unharmonized, and so many mistakes and errors within one mere recipe?

Are they trying to poison someone instead of helping them?

Well... whatever.

For sure, there's no way that the kids and I will be using those pills. Never.

But nevertheless...

"These herbs? I have them." I answered after some quick thinking.

"Ah, well. That's great but... well, you're not the one in contact with us so..."

He trail off.

In other words, this isn't my business. And he can't make or force me to exchange and sell with him too.

In another way, there's nothing that can be done. The contract was now void and intangible.

Well, there's no harm to the Vismark merchants now that the contract was void and null since the contractor died which wasn't caused by either party, indirectly or otherwise.

"Instead, could we buy those herbs from you at the market price?" Captain Clapton asked with his eyes glittering with hope.

I nodded. Sure. I have a lot of those herbs. I used some of them for our everyday food but it was only as a catalyst. I didn't use it as an alchemy ingredient but rather as a Conditioner to tone the kid's body.

Captain Clapton took out a piece of parchment paper from his right. Ah - so there was Space-Ring in this world. Hmm? Weird. Why does that ring feels so unstable and tainted?

This is... dragon blood? No, its flood dragon blood?

According to my knowledge, the blood of the dragons is very good for making spatial and inter spatial device. No matter if it was a flood dragon or a Sky Dragon, it shouldn't cause any instability within a ring... Unless, ahh. I see.

It was an impure dragon. And a very young one too. Not only was the blood not aged enough, whoever it was that craft the ring doesn't even purify the blood- causing the augment within the ring to be unstable and weak. It used too much mana to open and cannot bond to the owner of the ring. Not only that, it can't provide protection for the owner either.

Captain Clapton started to write out the list of herbs that I agreed to sell to him; the cost, quantity, and subtotal.

All of the Kids: "..."

Jin:(O_O;)

The adults, aside from Clapton: ∑(O_O;)

Me: "..."

Isn't this a little bit too much for kids my age?

According to Jenna's knowledge, a normal person only needs 1 Silver to live comfortably without having to worry about food for the day or shelter for the night.

The currency in this world or kingdom is like this;

Copper coin

Silver coin

Gold coin

Diamond coin

100 Copper coins is the equivalent to 1 Silver coin.

100 Silver coins make up 1 Gold coin.

And 1000 gold coins was the equivalent of 1 diamond coin.

According to Jade's teaching, a normal person only need 20-50 copper coins per day to live carefreely.

Breakfast consists of bread, soup and porridge cost 7-10 copper coins. Lunch consists soup, meat, bread, and salads were around 10-15 copper coin. And dinner can be around 10-20 copper coins per dinner. Well, unless you really are saving money then, 20 coppers coins were last up to two days max.

For kids our age, 10 Copper was enough to last one day; kids don't eat a lot.

Well, of course, this would only count if there were no other needs. Such as medical care and education needs.

Once health and education came into needs, the cost surges up by more than 10 times.

All of the kids' eyes were shining with awes as they looked at me. I ignored their looks as I continue to talk to Captain Clapton while I give Jin the purse that Captain Clapton give me, which was filled with the money that I got from our sell.

I can hear Jin chuckling behind me but I too ignored him.

"What do you have in your inventory for sales?" I asked.

Captain Clapton's eyebrows lift in surprise. "Leathers, fabrics, potions, essentials needs, tools, weapons, and pretty much anything that you would ever need!" He answered with a prideful voice and his arms wide open like he was showing me what he has. Even though there was nothing in front of us at all. Only a bunch of kids who were excitingly looking at the old man with stars in their eyes.

"Can I see what you guys have for cooking utensils and fabrics goods?"

"Sure!"

A couple of minutes later, several different kinds of cooking utensils made out of wood, stoneware, ironware and was that earthenware? Was in front of me. There were clothes for winter that are long sleeves and hoodies cloaks in three different colors. As for fabrics, there seems to be some sort of linen fabrics that were used to make commoner's clothes.

... wow. The production of this world was at a very low level.

There are no silk fabrics? No, it seems like there is silk fabric but it might be very limited and expensive. Which mean that it was already sold out.

Aside from that, there's leather too. All kind of leathers.

Cowhide, boar's leather, wolf pelt and what in the world is this?

Snakeskin? No, a large snake-like animal's skin. But- why is the skin so coarse and hard? The processed of the skin was not correct or they didn't soak it in tanning agent- causing it to be very hard.

For now, let's just buy anything that is useful for us kids right now.

I brought a large wooden steamer and a large pot for stews and soups. I also brought 20 yards of linen fabrics to make bedrolls for us kids. It was a good thing that the kids are so small, making the bedrolls not using a lot of fabrics. Aside from that, I also brought a couple of type of flax seeds that this world has. Oddly enough, flax seed was very cheap. A pound of flaxseed was only 2 copper coin while the cotton seed was, even more, cheaper, at only 2 copper coins per 5 pound of seed.

... Is there a problem with this world's flax and cotton shrubs?

Still, I still brought 100 pounds of flax seeds, at the cost of 2 silver coins. And 100 pound of cotton seeds, at the cost of 40 copper coins.

This is very cheap... Hmmm... It seems like I will have to do some research about these flax seeds and cotton seeds.

It seems like the cargo within the carriage was larger than what it seems.

Ah- don't tell me that the carriage has a spatial formation augment on it? That would make sense as to how they were able to stock up on so many things without overloading. If not spatial formation then, chances are high that this merchant group has a Space-Void space within their wagons.

Space-Void, or Folded Space, was a special area of effect that could be portable. It was just like a Spatial Ring and spatial bags but in term of usage, it was easier to use and more subtle. Not only that, with Fold-Space, it was possible to put living things inside. Including armies of beasts.

In my previous life, I have my own Fold-Spaces. A lot of them was the size of a planet. Some were even larger than the normal size of content out there. There was a reason why Magis Millions World was called such; one of the reason was the fact that I left behind thousands, if not million, of different kind of Fold-Spaces behind. If not for this reason, by now, Magis Millions World wouldn't be called as such. Rather, the name would have changed into Magis Gate World- which made more sense and was more to the core of the world. Because, really, his Maj- No, don't mention his name! Anyway- that person who created the initial universe that Magis Million World reside on created Magis Million to be used as a Gateway that connected to the doors that his realm resides in. Which was why Magis literally has a Million of Doorways to other worlds out there.

Anyway, moving on. One of Megie's Fold-Space was known as [Celestial Garden of Heaven].

It has five continents full of different kind of beasts and alchemy herbs plants from the primordial age all the way to the modern age. There was no human in these Fold-Spaces but the majority of those beasts were able to transform from a beast into their humanoid form. So, they could take care of my spirits and magical plants in there themselves.

That's right- those beasts were my tamed animal.

Now, they should be in the control of my Soul Beast, Benihime. If not Benihime, than Sol or Azaroth. Either one of the three or all three of them would be fine. All three of them are good at Agriculture Cultivation so they should have no problem with taking care of my Fold-Spaces for me. No, in fact, Azaroth might even be staying there and not returning to his realm. If that happens, chaos will erupt for sure without Azaroth to control his realm.

Moving on.

The ones that I suspected the merchant group to have was a low-level portable Fold-Space. The kind that is moveable and accessible through magic. This was due to Captain Clapton's holy magic and his age.

But then again, I could be wrong and it might not be a Fold-Space. Just a normal spatial ring.

Or interspatial ring - same thing but more define.

A spatial ring was the literally spatial ring. Interspatial rings, on the other hand, was made out of space-elemental mana and inscription augments.

To make a spatial ring or bags, you only need to know, acknowledge, and understand the function, the cause, and effect, Forces and Laws of the Space Elemental Magic and the Time Elemental Magic's Foundational Laws and Forces. The creator would infuse the Forces and Laws of the Space Elemental Magic and Time Elemental Magic into the spatial rings during the making procedures, making a door to a different dimension that would be bound with that spatial bag ring.

Spatial ring or bags was just bounding an [area] of space from a different dimension or plane and bound it to the ring using Space-Elemental Magic and Time-Elemental Magic.

It used little mana to open it and only one person could ever use it. Once the owner died, the item inside the bags would be either lost or got lost inside the dimension of that spatial bags or ring's boundary.

Interspatial bags or ring, however, used the same dimension of space that the user and or creator was [on/in] to force opened a Void-Space inside the ring/bag using only the Forces of the Space-Elemental Magic and Time-Elemental Magic, not the Laws of such magic elements. As such, the interspatial bag or ring was more defined and stable due to using only one kind of elements, the Force. However, this will result in an interspatial space that was very inflexible and unkind to an intruder - making it impossible to place a certain subject/object inside unless the creator is someone like Megie, His Holiness, His Majesty, and a couple of other Strong beings, then that's another story.

Depending on the skills, strengths, and talents that the creator has, the sizes of ring/bags could change. Inside an interspatial bag or ring, living things cannot be store. The temperature will not change. Fire will not lite and water will not form a crystal. This was due to having only a Force Implemented into an Object. It lacks Laws and Functionality for a more flexible change.

The law of the spatial magic within a [interspatial device] was very formed and hard to change - even for someone like me. This was why I mainly used Spatial devices more often than Interspatial devices.

It was far more easier to change and alter the Laws and Forces of the spatial magic within a Spatial Ring or Bag than the Interspatial Ring or Bag.

Speaking of a spatial ring.

"You have any Stearla Steel?" I asked. I remember that Jade, aka my 'mother', had made my father a small interspatial bag before.

She used Stearla Steel to make small wires and used it as the formation for augmenting a small spatial bag. The size was only 5 meters by 8 meters but it was already pretty awesome and fantastic for Jenna back then. It was a good thing that aside from Jenna and her father, no one else knew that Jade has such skills. Otherwise, war between country were the least of Jade's worries.

Stearla Steel was one of the rare magic metal that Jade knew of. I recalled she had made her wedding rings from it also.

Although, from what I recalled from Jenna's memory, that interspatial ring was incomplete and not correctly made. So, when Jenna's father died in that fire, the ring was also gone too.

"Ah, Stearla Steel- I do have some but very little. And they are very expensive too." Captain Clapton looked slightly hesitating as he said this.

"I don't mind. How much was it?" I asked.

"An ingot is 90 Gold," He answered with his eyes closed, not wanting to see my expression or something. I nodded.

For a magic metal, 90 Gold was a bit too little in my opinion but that might have something to do with the purity of the ingot itself.

I can hear Jin winced behind me and all of the kids paling rapidly in shock.

That's a lot of money in their opinion.

1 gold coin was already enough for them to live comfortably for half a year if they know how to save money.

And yet, the Steala Steel cost 90 Gold coins?!

... Oi, why are you all looking at me like that for?

Rich or poor isn't something that I worried about, okay?

Jin chuckles softly from behind me after he got over his shocks. Which, admittedly, was very fast.

I guess that for me and Jin, our sense of money was the same or similar. Because both of us didn't care much for 90 gold coins. Much.

If I want to, earning a thousand gold coin per day was easy. Still, I am not going to do such a thing. I'm not that bored.

Captain Clapton give me the Stearla Steel ingot and I pay him the full amount without hesitation. Causing the kids to winced as they all groans out loud; thinking that I am wasting money for nothing since they don't know the usage of the Stearla ingot.

Afterward, I and Rebecca left the adult and the rest of the kids behind and went to make our dinner.

There's still enough Kroka left so I made a large pot of soup out of it. As for bread, I just bought the flours from the merchant just now. So, I am making some bread with Rebecca's help.

I taught Rebecca how to make buttermilk bread while I make the stews for tonight. Tonight's menu was Kroka soup, buttermilk dinner roll bread, stews of tomatoes and Kroka meats. Dessert would be cookies made with flours, sugars, and crockatrice eggs.

Crockatrice... Not Cockatrice. There's a difference. Cockatrice is from the line of the basilisk. Crockatrice is from the main species of the Landfowl animal. In other words, Crockatrice was more chicken-egg-laying kind while Cockatrice was more of the Prey-on-eggs kind. Both kind still lay eggs but of the species just happened to like habiting on eggs as their dinner.

The crockatrice eggs were weird. Unlike the crockatrice in Magis Millions World, the crockatrice in this world has a snake tail as its main base while the crockatrice in Magis Millions World has a dragon head as its main base. The chicken part was the tail, not the head. So, it was slightly different from the crockatrice that I remember.

Still, both kinds of crockatrice were not much different from one another. The crockatrice in this world lay eggs once per month in a cold and damp ground while the ones from Magis Millions World lay eggs in a humid environment. The difference in their laying eggs environment was the cause of them having a very sinister nature due to the coldness or a very calm nature due to the humid environment.

These crockatrice eggs that I have were just bred by Jin for eggs purpose. It lay its eggs like how a chicken lay and the environment was totally different, so its nature was more mild and calm. Not only that, Jin had somehow found a way to make sure that in each laying eggs session, there was more than 24 eggs per day. I don't know how did he know that if the eggs were buried using leaves, then the crockatrice would lay more eggs to replenished the buried eggs.

So, far, we have 6 crockatrices. As each crockatrice lays up to 36 eggs per lay, each month, we have more than 200 eggs to use. From what I had noticed so far, Jin was already started to breed another 6 more crockatrice for more input of eggs.

Each time that it lay eggs, it would sleep for 24 hours at rest.

During that time, Jin had already moved all of the eggs into a warmer place. The eggs that were seated on in that condition, give birth to crockatrice that were calmer and more chicken-like.

As a result, for the past two-three days, we aren't short on eggs at all.

It was already possible for us kids to start an Egg Production store just from the crockatrice eggs now. So, money won't be much of a problem for us anymore.

Now that Jin knew what he has to do and what to do, he didn't hesitate at all as he went and caught more crockatrice for breeding purposes.

When the merchant saw our eggs and how calm the crockatrices in our chicken farm was, they were all shocked silly.

Still, they are a merchant and they saw a huge opportunity for an egg business. Still, there's something that the merchant forgot.

The fact that this village was in the middle of nowhere. Where the hell would we find our customers from? The nearest village to this place was more than 10 days away. If they were going to be selling eggs to that village all that far away then why not just move to live there? Easier for us kids and far more convenience with adults to watch over us.

Haven't the merchant thought of this issue at all? Or are they idiots?

They are idiots, are they?

Both me and Jin exchange looks, amusement was dancing in our eyes.
