"We're extremely sorry sir." The manager apologized while the waitress bowed at the side.
"It's fine." Keith waved it off with nonchalance. He waved the off and continued to pat dry his clothes.
Su Lin chucked at him before glancing at the clock hanging on the wall. See that it was getting late, he stood up to bid Keith farewell.
"It was nice meeting you here Keith but I have to move in to my new apartment ." Su Lin said with a slight smile.
Seeing Su Lin getting up, Keith followed him and stood up too. A trace of sadness flashed through his face before it promptly disappeared and was replaced with a nonchalant look.
"I'll catch you again later." Keith said slowly.
Not noticing anything, Su Lin walked out of the cafe and hurried back to his baby boy. When Su Lin entered the cramped apartment, the first thing he saw was a baby Quinn sleeping soundly in Ben's arms. Even Ben himself was snoring away with drool dripping from his open mouth.
Rolling his eyes, Su Lin walked in and gently released Ben's hold on baby Quinn so as to not wake him up. Su Lin then carried baby Quinn in his arms and went to go pack the little stuff he had.
With his things packed and ready to go, Su Lin placed baby Quinn on the couch and shook Ben awake in a not too gentle manner.
"Argh." Ben groaned as he woke up from his head bobbing back and forth soo violently. Still half awake, Ben looked around the room absentmindedly until his eyes fell on Su Lin.
"You're back." He yawned before he got up and stretched out his cramped body.
"Yes, baby Quinn and I are leaving today." Su Lin said as if it were not a it deal worth mentioning.
Ben woke up fully after hearing that, "You already have your things ready?" He asked surprised.
Su Lin nodded his head, "Everything is ready for us. I just want to ask you to tell Rachel that when she gets back." Su Lin requested.
Ben muttered something under his breath and walked past Su Lin to get to his bedroom. A moment later, he came back with a small, wooden box.
"This is important, do not tell anyone about it. Anyone." Ben emphasized.
Though feeling a bit perplexed, Su Lin still complied and took the box from Ben's hand before stuffing it into his bag.
Su Lin walked up to Ben and hugged him, "Thank you for everything you've done for me." Su Lin softly said before he released Ben and picked up the still sleeping baby Quinn.
Su Lin then walks out of the apartment and waved a cab over to him. He told the cab driver the his apartment directions before settling down on the car seat. A quarter of an hour later, they arrived at the apartment. Su Lin paid the cab driver before gathering up his stuff and walking up to his room.
Su Lin set his bags on the floor before he fumbled with the key.
But as he opened the door, his heart stopped when he saw a man sitting on his new couch. Su Lin had his eyes wide open before he noticed who the man was.
"Keith? What are you doing here? No, more importantly, how did you get in?"
Keith smiled and walked over to him. He took the bags out of Su Lin's hand and carried them somewhere. After he finished, he walked back over and was about to say something but stopped when he noticed a little head popping out of a blanket.
