Su Lin furrowed his brows and glared at Keith because of the intense look he was giving his son. Su Lin tucked baby Quinn back into the blanket and bypassed Keith in the doorway before he made his way to the living room. The floor was carpeted so Su Lin placed baby Quinn gently on to the ground before he unwound the blanket around baby Quinn and set him free to roam the newly bought carpet.
After Su Lin finished with that, he turned back around and caught Keith staring daggers at baby Quinn from the door. Su Lin blocked Keith's view of his baby and crossed his arms on his chest with his lips pursed. "What are you doing here?" Su Lin repeated as he stared down Keith as if daring him to do something to his baby.
Hearing the threatening tone in Su Lin's voice, Keith cleared his throat awkwardly and gently smiled. "I just came by to congratulate you on your new apartment," he said innocently.
Su Lin hmphed at Keith. "Then how did you get inside my house?" Su Lin asked with his brows raised.
Instead of answering him, Keith walked into the kitchen and came back a moment later with a bottle of red wine. "How about some wine?" he asked but didn't even wait for Su Lin's answer before he dragged Su Lin over to the dining room.
Su Lin waved Keith's hands off his arms and bereted him. "No, I have to put Quinn to sleep."
"Quinn?" Keith asked confused before a lightbulb went on in his head.
"My baby," Su Lin confirmed Keith's thoughts before he walked out of the kitchen and into the living where he saw baby Quinn rolling around on the floor giggling. A small smile formed on Su Lin's lips and his face grew softer as he stared lovely at baby Quinn for a moment. Su Lin sighed in content and went over to pick baby Quinn up and cradled him in his arms.
Su Lin walked into the master bedroom and locked the door when he closed it shut. He then walked over to the bed and laid baby Quinn down before he took off his shirt. Su Lin guided baby Quinn to his nipple and fed him until he fell asleep before burping him and setting him down on the bed to sleep.
Feeling fatigued, Su Lin put his shirt back on before he left the bedroom and walked to the dining room where Keith was still sitting with to glasses of red wine.
Su Lin sat down across from him and picked up the glass of wine in front him to take a sip.
Both men drank in silence. Eventually, Keith got up and fixed his clothes before he headed to the door. When Keith opened the door, he looked back at Su Lin, "See you soon Luca."
He then closed the door behind him. Su Lin sighed to himself and got up to head to his bedroom.
He moved baby Quinn to the baby crib next to his bed and laid down on the bed. Su Lin stared up at the ceiling with unfathomable eyes before he closed them and drifted off to sleep.
10 years later---------------------------------------------------------
"Dad, Uncle Keith is bothering me again."
Su Lin felt a tug on his sleeve and looked over to baby Quinn who didn't look like a baby anymore.
Due to him being an Alpha and a powerful one at that, Quinn grew up to be the same height as Su Lin even though he was still 10. His body matured greatly but he still had the baby fat on his cheeks which Su Lin enjoyed pinching.
"Oh, and what is Uncle Keith doing?" Su Lin asked with a playful smirk.
"He's irritating my soul," Quinn pouted.
Su Lin laughed when he heard Quinn say that and pulled him over, to Quinn's reluctance, to pinch his chubby cheeks.
"I did not know that I possessed that much power on your soul," A voice sounded from behind them but you could still hear how happy it sounded when it said that.
