When Su Lin headed down stairs. he heard a honk from a car. He opened the door and walked out to the waiting Ye Ren who had pulled up in front of the house.
Still maintain his disgruntled expression, Su Lin got into the car in the passenger seat and ignored Ye Ren.
"Darling, what's wrong?" Ye Ren asked confused as to why Su Lin hadn't looked at him since he got in the. He thought back to anything he could have done to provoke him but couldn't recall anything.
"Just drive to your condo," Su Lin said with gritted teeth.
"Yes darling," Ye Ren smirked and drove out of the estate. It took thirty minutes for them to arrive at
Ye Ren's condo. When they arrived, Su Lin totally disregarded Ye Ren's outstretched hands and passed him to get inside the building.
Ye Ren didn't take offence to that and calmly drooped his hands. Sighing, he followed Su Lin into the building, already anticipating that he was going to be yelled at about something.
When they both reached Ye Ren's condo, Su Lin grabbed Ye Ren's arm and pulled him over to the couch. Ye Ren, surprised at this development, didn't make a move to stop him.
When Su Lin reached the couch, he pushed Ye Ren down and took out his phone. He scrolled over to the message sent by the unknown person and held it up to Ye Ren's face.
"Look at this and tell me what you see," He seethed.
Ye Ren took the phone and studied the picture.
"It's that time we shared our first kiss," he said with an innocent smile.
"I can see that and so can someone else," Su Lin said, heavily contemplating whether he should beat up Ye Ren or not.
"It's fine darling, I want people to know that you're mine anyways," Ye Ren said in a reasoning tone.
"I wouldn't care as much if this wasn't such a conservative city," Su Lin sighed and sat down next to Ye Ren on the couch.
"Like I said darling, even if someone threatens you with this picture, do they have the power to rock your boat?" Ye Ren said with a smile as he inched closer to Su Lin,
Not noticing Ye Ren's movements, Su Lin nodded his head and replied, "Yes, the Su Family is not strong for no reason. Ye Ren, what does your family do?" Su Lin remembered to ask him about this point.
"Our Xia Family mostly manufactures any type of security related devices. So like how your Su
Family Corporation makes technological equipment, our Xia Family business will secure them to make them more safe for the public. That's basically where our two families cooperation lie," He explained.
Su Lin nodded his head in understanding and was about to get up when an arm restrained his movements. It pulled him down forcefully onto a soft, but hard cushion. Shocked, Su Lin's body stilled until he heard a chuckle next to his ear. Looking down, he finally saw that he was sitting on Ye Ren's lap.
"Darling, how about you stay for dinner," Ye Ren whispered into his ears.
Su Lin shivered and struggled to get out of his grip. 'I really need some exercise,' he thought when nothing he was doing was making Ye Ren's arms even budge an inch.
"No, I have work tomorrow," He finally said when all his efforts to get out was in vain.
"I know, like I said, the Su Corporation and the Xia Corporation are working together."
"What does that have to do with you not letting me go?" Su Lin asked in an annoyed voice with a pout forming on his lips.
Ye Ren looked at this and marveled at how cute he looked. He leaned down and pecked his lips softly. Just barely keeping his willpower in check. Before Su Lin could react, Ye Ren was already answering his question.
"Since we're working together, that means that you and I will be comrades from now on. Didn't your father tell you?" He asked.
"No, I haven't heard that from my father," Su Lin said when he couldn't recall his father saying that to him.
"So, you will be staying with me for dinner," Ye Ren said, not even asking Su Lin's opinion.
He released his hold from Su Lin and got up to walk over to his kitchen. He took out some vegetables from the fridge and took out a pan. Su Lin walked over and leaned against the wall to watch him.
"You know how to cook?" Su Lin asked surprised because people on Ye Ren's standing usually had private chefs to do this kind of work.
"Yes, my parents kicked me out of the house when I turned sixteen to live on my own because they wanted me to be more independent. I learned how to cook then." He chuckled. he then went back to cleaning up the fish he got out of the freezer.
Su Lin stayed quiet after that so he wouldn't interrupt him. He laid his head on the wall and closed his eyes to relax his tense nerves. After a while, he felt a tap on his shoulders and opened his eyes to Ye Ren's smiling face in front of him. He beckoned him over to a table that had two chair.
The table had a vase with red rose inside it. Two candles were also on both side of the table. This combined with the setting sun made it a really romantic atmosphere.
Ye Ren pulled Su Lin over to the table and pulled back a chair for him to sit down. He then went to the kitchen and got two plates of food to place on the table in front of them.
"What's with this get up," Su Lin asked smiling in amusement.
"We haven't had a lot of dates to get to know each other better so I just made one." he replied smirking.
"Oh, you must say that to everyone you date," Su Lin said as he remembered all those articles about him and other women.
"You're my first," he said, "darling, are you jealous of your hubby?" he asked with a smirk.
"Of course not," Su Lin bit back as he turned his face away from him so he wouldn't see his blush.
"To bad because I'm always jealous of those bees and butterfly's who now have you in their sights." Ye Ren said.
"What do you mean, I haven't been around anyone," Su Lin said with a confused expression.
"I know, but that doesn't stop the internet from saying anything," He said remorsefully.
Su Lin made a mental note to look on the forums on the internet later and dug into the food. He moaned in pleasure when the flavor from the rice burst into his mouth, releasing the sweet taste as it melted his tongue.
"Baby, don't moan like that or I really will have you tonight instead of the food. I bet you taste more delicious than anything I could cook." Ye Ren said as he watched Su Lin eating his fill.
Su Lin shivered again and tried to eat his food more quietly.
Thirty minutes later, they both finished their food. Su Lin got up and checked his watch to see what time it was. It was ten minutes past ten.
"Goodbye," he said as he walked over to the elevator.
"Darling, don't say that," Ye Ren replied.
"What do you mean?" Su Lin asked confused. He was already in the elevator.
"Goodbye means that we will never see each other again, say see you later instead next time," he explained.
"How profound you are, but I see your point. See you later then," Su Lin said smiling at Ye Ren just as the elevator door shut.
