Finally finishing her story, Reen who coincidentally got the affirmation of the annihilation of Lilith's men and the reinforcement coming immediately acted.
Lilith noticing Reen charging towards her met her head on as she aimed her hidden knife towards Reen's heart. Reen dodged slightly to the right making Lilith stab her right shoulder instead.
"You!" Lilith angrily shouted.
She thought that if she could stab her in the heart that would be great but if not she could use the momentum of Reen dodging to run away again.
She was not merely narrating the events in the past but also conserving her energy to make a fast escape after snapping out of her short reminiscing initially on her storytelling.
By now even the thickest person would understand that her men will not arrive so her only way of survival was to run and reach the emergency exit just a few more meters away from here.
However, she didn't expect that rather than dodged completely to secure her safety Reen shifted and allowed her to hit her shoulder instead.
Reen gaining the information she needed and was press on time ignored everything not even feeling the pain from the wound.
It was as though her body and mind were merely controlled by a thirst… the thirst for revenge…
She slashed, sliced, punched and kicked not minding her own wounds as Lilith who initially regained her strength lose it gradually now at the maniacal and suicidal way Reen was fighting.
Lilith screamed and used several tricks to divert Reen's attention but all were a futile attempt.
Reen unconsciously didn't directly kill Lilith as she kept on wounding her and scaring her mentally and physically.
She did it in a deliberately slow manner, Lilith desperately defended herself trying her best to inflict wounds on Reen but all was useless as Reen was like a killing machine with all emotions and feelings locked away.
While Reen was doing this, she was occasionally coughing as well. Her coughing fit was so severe that she even coughed blood giving Lilith the much needed opportunity to retaliate. She pulled the knife from Reen's shoulder and attacked her aggressively and without aim.
It did not matter if the wound was deep enough but her main point was to wound her enough to weaken her and buy her time to escape but sadly, all her actions were in vain.
This was what Uoron and their subordinates discovered when they finally reached their place.
"That's enough Reen! That's enough…" Uoron said pleadingly and a bit helplessly, he then immediately ran and pulled her into his embrace.
Upon their arrival, Lilith was already on the ground crouching and covering her head while wailing as Reen continued to "play" with her. Unknown to her a manically and murderous smile surfaced on her face.
Finally realizing her actions were for naught and so called salvation has arrived, Lilith fainted in relief and excessive pain.
Her bloodied and wounded filled body lay in front of them. Pieces of clothes were scattered on the ground torn harshly by the sharpness of the knife, several wounds could be seen while some fresh and dried blood surrounded her body.
Reen struggled from his grasps as she tried to escape while Uoron signaled for his men to take care of Lilith as they half drag and half carried her away with them, leaving Uoron and Reen alone together.
