Reen finally ended her singing but continued to hum. Lilith cursed and gritted her teeth, she herself was not even sure if it was because of the pain or her anger towards the insane human.
This continued up until Lilith was finally too tired to run and leaned besides an uproot tree.
The tree seems to be uprooted for some time as one part of the tree had moss growing on it while some mushrooms and other fungus grew at its surroundings.
Her blood trailed along the way as she was too tired to run anymore. She also felt a little light headed which was cause by the excessive blood loss. She could only hatefully glare at the devil that was now in front of her.
Because of the extreme pain she was experiencing even if she wanted to curse at her she couldn't but this did not stop her from trying.
Even up until that moment she still hasn't given up the idea that she could survive this tragedy with the skilled and dozen men she has.
"I should just hold on a few more minutes and surely they will arrive." Because of this belief she refused to give up even if her strength was draining continually.
She then sneered and squeezed some words as she tried her best to endure the pain she was experiencing.
"Huh! Do you think with just the few of you, you could kill me? Huh! You think highly of yourself. Once my men disposed of those insignificant cockroaches of men you have, you will surely be begging me to kill you! Once I have you in my hands, you'll experience something worse than death!" She shouted then spat towards Reen.
Reen merely smiled amusedly at her but her eyes had no emotion in it to indicate her joy. She twirled the gun on her had then aimed it at Lilith's head.
Lilith stiffened as she was truly frightened then.
"Even if I have several skilled subordinates, if they don't arrive now it would be useless and no one can save me once this bullet goes through my brain." She could not help but tremble in fear realizing this thought.
Reen smiled wider highly glad seeing her acting like a chicken with her head cut off [1]. She then pulled the trigger.
Alas despite pulling it, she had run out of ammunition which she actually calculated based on the amount of gunshots she did.
She only did the things she did to scare the sh*t out of this woman but Lilith not knowing this, because of too much fear peed her pants but knowing that it was a false alarm she ignored her disheveled and disgraceful looked and arrogantly stared at her then shouted, dismissing her soiled clothes as well.
"Huh! Even God is on my side now! You can never kill me!" She laughed hysterically
Reen still maintaining her smiling face yet cold murderous eyes threw the gun aside and cross her arms in front of her looking at Lilith like she was a dancing monkey. She did not know where she got the gall to act all fearless in front of her especially with the situation she was in.
