"I didn't know your name changed to Harold?" He said with obvious teasing despite his stoic facade
Claire rolled her eyes as she made her way towards Reen sit as she then placed the tray with three sets of cups and assorted biscuits on the glass table.
"I heard you asking uncle Harold to bring some tea in and since we were planning to eat lunch together as well I decided that I'll just bring it along with me."
She did not mention though that she accidentally heard their conversation and when he had ask Harold who Uoron was in the meeting with, he answered truthfully not finding anything wrong with what he said or the situation.
When she found this out she had an unexplainable face which Harold still did not find anything amiss as she had the same expression each time she hears Uoron is in a meeting with a woman.
Not waiting for him to finish the meeting like she normally does. Even if she was a fan of Reen, her being alone together with Uoron was two different matters.
The way Claire address Harold was so natural that Reen could not help but feel like she turned into sour grapes [1].
"What second condition?! If this young miss here did not arrived timely I would be fooled and wrongly understood his sugar coated words [2]!"
She lamented and cursed him not once blaming the interruption of Claire and blamed it all on this man.
Right at this time Claire like a shrinking violet [3] gave Reen her tea.
"Here you go." She said shyly. Reen having stabilized her emotions smiled brightly at her
"Thank you" she said as she took the tea cup and saucer from her which made Claire blush.
She then sat opposite her as they chatted with each other about anything under the sun [4] Uoron who was completely ignored frowned
"Don't you have anything to do or something? What are you being all whiffle-whaffle [5] here for?" Uoron said in obvious discontent.
Realizing that they had been talking for at least an hour now and finding out that they had a prior engagement which she disrupted when she asked for this meeting Reen hurriedly stood up slung her small shoulder bag on her shoulder startling both Claire and Uoron.
"I'm so sorry for my intrusion but as previously mentioned for your condition #1 I already fulfilled it for the #2 I'm sorry but I don't have the leisure or spare time to accompany you to events or something along those lines." She said without pause
"If you have any other condition and as long as it is within our powers then we will try to fulfill it as much as we can. Please do give me a call or email me in your most convenient time once you thoroughly thought the proposed deal. With that, thank you for your time and I'll escort myself out the door."
She then bowed down towards Uoron then smiled at Claire and left without turning back making sure to close the door as quietly as she could.
