Poe still had no clue to where they were going, as the only thing they had fought so far was the dreaded rock golem. Though they are called dreaded, it is only because they are the lowest level on the 4'th floor and all you get from them are rocks, rocks and maybe slightly bigger rocks.
That way they adopted the name dreaded, on the 4'th floor. Compared to the other 3 floors, the loot you got from monsters on the 4'th floor was not bad and the rock golem, as the only enemy left to still drop bad loot was dreaded as a useless monster.
Poe felt a little bad for the rock golem. The only thing it ever gave was rocks. Maybe higher leveled rock golems would give something good. Thinking so, Poe decided that he would try to fight rock golems in the future, just to prove that they were not completely useless!
Having walked for around the cave for some time, Poe noticed that the giant cave that made out the 4'th floor was different compared to the 3'rd floors.
Poe even saw small stream and river here and there with some monsters in them.
[Lesser water spirit, lvl 11]
They were sadly also useless…
Nevertheless, one of the main differences Poe saw on the 4'th floor, was the people present there. Warriors! There were people clearly from the warrior guild present here!
"Lucia, why are people from the warrior guild also on this floor?"
Poe asked Lucia while looking as confused as when he first discovered that the system existed.
"Ah, because the time tunnel is quite rare, some people talented people from the warrior guild is allowed to come over and practice in it."
"Is the time tunnel really that rare? And what benefit is there from training inside of it?"
Poe asked, getting more and more interested in the so-called time tunnel.
"Hmm, for us mages it is good because the mana is way denser in there and learning mana based spells is easier, but to the warriors the dense mana helps them with training their bodies."
"Wait a minute, when I entered the training ground it said something about learning mana based skill is easier or something like that. What does that have to do with training the body?"
"Well warriors will get a different message saying that their body will be trained in the mana dense environment instead of increasing their learning speed of mana based spells."
"So, does different classes get different bonuses in places with dense mana? By the way you said that warriors train their body what did you mean with that?"
"Yes, different classes get different bonuses supporting the class they chose. What I meant was what I said, warrior train their body, while we mages strength and expands our core instead. Every class have their own way for training, but the most normal ones are training the core for mage, the body for warriors, rouges, hunters and so on. Another way to train would be doing both, but you would need a class like magic swordsman or other similar classes to be able to train the body and core at the same time."
Hearing Lucia's explanation, Poe understood a little more about the differences between the warrior and mage class. What Poe trained would be his core… Well if he had a core, Poe just got more confused as he closed his eyes for a moment and looked at the weird stream of mana in his head.
Are you a core? Maybe the stream would form a core at some time in the future?
Throwing his worries about the little stream to the side, Poe returned his attention to Lucia. The little stream had after all never caused any trouble for him (other than pain), so there was no need to worry, probably…
"Thanks Lucia!"
"No problem, just say if there is something you don't understand!"
Lucia said while giving Poe one of her best smile to date.
"Oi! Lucia, Poe, we are here "
Ivy said from the front returning Lucia and Poe their current goal.
In front of them was the wall of the dungeon with small steps etched into the side forming a staircase of sorts while leading up to a tunnel at least 50 meters above the ground.
"W-what is this?!"
Poe almost screamed to himself when he saw the steps etched into the cave wall in front of him. Poe had already figured out that they were going to walk up those steps, as Ivy was already 10 or so meters up.
This was most definitely not, what Poe signed up for when he entered the training ground.
"I-is there another way up? Or maybe we could try another tunnel instead of this one?"
Poe asked as his eyes desperately darted around from place to place, searching for another more safe way up to the tunnel.
"We are already here and it's just a little walk up. All wind tunnels are located at high places; even wind dungeons have their entrances at high places."
Saying so, Lucia started walking up the steps.
Having no choices left, Poe swallowed his fear for now and made his way up the 100 % unsafe steps. Poe discovered that he was also afraid of heights
Having made it 20 or so metes up, Poe was holding Lucia's hand while slowly walking up the steps.
Poe could not think of a scarier thing than what he was doing right now, even Ivy the terror of all small and cute things was less scary.
Taking a whole hour to walk up some 50 meters, Poe and Lucia finally made it to the top of the steps. Waiting on them was a half sleeping Ivy.
"Are … Zzz… We going in… ZZzzz… Now?"
"Yes, So wake up!"
Saying so Lucia kicked Ivy before proceeding inside the tunnel together with Poe.
