Chapter 35 - The Four Horns

Opening her eyes just to see the deep green? No, purple eyes of her husband staring right at her with a satisfied smile on his face.

"You seem happy" her sarcastic comment pierced through the sound of the birds peacefully chirping, now her waist hurt as well as her but yet this jerk had such a good smile on his annoyingly handsome face.

"Should I not be happy? This morning was my wedding day~" his sly reply made her 'tch' in annoyance, what an odd person, he's really acting like nothing had happened the night before.

"Well since you're full of energy you might as well make breakfast for me because it's your fault It's painful to move right now." Right, she was now married to him so she could be as brazen as she wanted without any problems, what a relief.

"Yes, my Queen" her eats heated up slightly when she heard that, then she recalled their earlier conversation and couldn't help but cover herself in embarrassment. How cheesy could she get?

What was this talk about promising herself to him?

She wasn't drunk, maybe she was drugged, she glanced at him through the corner of her eye and he smiled to himself while making a makeshift sphere to catch some fish. Looking up she saw a familiar creature and decided to make good use of her time while her husband cooked up some fish.

"Nagini"

The snake hissed not moving from the branches, she felt a bit weird knowing it had witnessed last night's events.

"What should I do now?" Her plans were cut off abruptly last night and here she was, laying on a large cloak on the floor. She had nowhere to go, being married to an enemy prince was as good as being exiled, no one would accept them back home and not even Zhou Lan could help or the Tian brothers.

"Mistress I suggest you go and find that cave again."

That cave? Her mind wandered to where she had found the book on spirit beats summoning, "Isn't that close to my home city?" She asked unwilling to go back.

"Not necessarily, you see the cave moves around so it is most likely not there anymore." It said with the same lazy tone as always.

"Ah, then you have no idea where it is?" The snake nodded its head making her eye twitch, was it trying to send her on an epic goose chase? "Could you tell me why I need to find that cave?" She asked again getting ready to give the snake a good trashing if it decided to give a useless answer again.

"That... Is because you need to find a special weapon leftover by my Master's beloved."

This woman must have been pretty amazing to win over the love of a ghost boy.

"And that is?" She asked getting slightly interested in this folklore.

"I cannot tell you that Mistress."

"Are you courting death!?" Completely useless!

"But Mistress without me you wouldn't know about the weapon-" it pouted feeling like it was unjustly accused.

"So what!?" She snapped back.

"Mistress without me you wouldn't know who has the other weapons..."

Right then she shut her mouth and a dazzling smile appeared on her face and she suddenly became ten times nicer.

"Darling you know I love you~"

"Does Mistress's Husband know about your bipolar disorder?"

She really wanted to squeeze this snake.

"I'm sorry ok darling? Don't be mad ok? Just tell me about these weapons~" if you don't tell her she might just squash you to death if she can get her hands on you.

The snake slithered down from the tree branch, if she was really the one then she should be able to find them.

"They're not called weapons, but rather they are called.."

She should be able to find them, the"Horns."
