Weakness: You can't figure out the weakness
The boss had a weakness, but he couldn't figure it out by looking at the boss. He needed to improve his Pinpoint skill to see the weakness.
The boss was a Great Chief ranked monster. The game didn't want to create a boss impossible to defeat by setting it at a high level, so they choose the level of the boss to be 15. It had a high attack value.
The unique thing about the boss was that it didn't have a range of numbers for the attack value. It would deal 300 damage with each strike.
Emile sent the information to the party.
The magic attack stat was at zero. It was a Cyborg that didn't have magical capabilities. Even though it had no magic, it had technology on its side.
Veronica wouldn't be useful during the fight since she was couldn't hit as hard as the other party members. She would have to sit back and watch.
The fight started with the Cyborg running at them.
Emile's party already had their weapons out.
Time Walker began shooting spells at the boss. The others began doing the same.
The boss took some damage from these attacks. It charged closer and Emile walked to the front to tank the hits.
Flower Queen's clone also fought with them. It would have been better if they produced a clone of the boss, but Emile couldn't create more than one clone at a time.
The party continued dealing lots of damage. Scarlet Sunset used a few skills which weakened the bosses attack stat.
Emile attacked the boss at close range.
Nimble Rod was at his side, smashing his rod onto the bosses head.
The boss punched at great speeds creating wind which rustled Emile's clothes. Emile evaded the punch with his superior dodging skills.
The bosses health dropped percent by percent. Its health arrived at 80%. It used the Triple Missile skill on the party.
It summoned three missiles by opening different parts of the body. The robotic arm lifted revealing a red nosed missile.
The missile activated and flew towards the party. Both legs opened p to reveal two more missiles. These missiles also flew out of the body.
The missiles flew at the party targetting different people.
The party tried dodging the attacks, but they soon noticed that the skill was homing and would follow the party around. They were running around like monkeys.
"Create an Earth Wall!!" Emile yelled out as the missile chased him from behind.
Flower Queen did as he instructed. She created a mud wall blocking the missile from hitting him. She created more mud walls to block the other missiles. The missiles couldn't hurt them at all.
The fight continued on without a hitch.
Emile dodged the attacks as the other party members used their skills at the boss. The bosses health bar feel down to 50% when it began casting another skill.
It lifted its giant robotic leg and began powering it up. It continued to power up the leg until it had a bright red glow around it. It stomped onto the group with enormous force. The area began vibrating.
A giant shockwave flowed throughout the virtual zone. The ground vibrated causing them to almost fall onto the ground. The giant shockwave grew closer to the party.
"Lily you might want to make a ramp leading up," Emile said.
She created a ramp going up.
Earth was one of the most versatile elements with lots of services. The only drawback was that the strikes were weaker than most of the elements.
She made a slope that led up. She walked up the slope and the party followed suit. The shockwaves passed underneath. The large shockwave was advancing near the ramp.
The shockwave went through the ramp causing it to sway with tremendous force and it soon crumbled down. The party dropped from the ramp. The ground wasn't far below them, so they didn't take fall damage. They landed safely and proceeded to fight.
Outside the virtual zone, the man watched the fight with ease. He didn't seem worried that its robot was slowly being killed. He pushed a few buttons on his pad and followed the battle.
The man stopped pressing buttons.
[For the next five minutes you cannot use skills]
The man disabled the usage of skills for five minutes. They disabled skills such as the Nirvanic skills, the class skills, and skills from nooks and items.
Interestingly enough, the clone didn't disappear, they summoned the clone before the man activated the barrier. The clone would remain for good. Well, until the time limit ran out.
Some party members became useless. Time Walker and Scarlet Sunset were the only players in the party mainly concentrated on the mage's path. They didn't have high strength or vitality.
There was no poison gas in the virtual zone, so they didn't need Veronica's skill during this exchange.
They stayed near the rear of the party as the other party members charged forward and attacked the Cyborg. Straight off the bat, Emile noticed that he struck for less damage.
He had fire infusion and water infusion active which always dealt more damage than his normal attack.
They continued attacking the boss at a lower efficiency since part of the party couldn't fight. Five minutes passed quickly. The boss wasn't using any skill even after it passed the 30% health barrier.
The bosses health arrived at 20% where it used its last two skills. It floated in the air and its eyes glowed red.
It shot laser beams at the party. Flower Queen created more mud walls to cover the party. These mud walls melted in front of their eyes.
The party had to move at rapid speeds to dodge the laser.
It hit some party members which did loads of damage. These party members hid behind the many walls Flower Queen created. The boss continued to fly around and shoot laser beams at everybody.
The boss aimed its laser beam at the helpless Veronica who was resting at the back, watching everything run down. Emile ran towards her and grasped her in his hands.
The boss beamed its laser beam on his back. Having a high pain sensor wasn't always a desirable thing. He could sense his back burning due to the high intensity of the beam.
The laser beam would occasionally cut off by Flower Queen who would build walls to hinder it.
Soon, the skill ended without a single casualty. Emile's health was growing closer to death after the stunt he pulled off. Veronica lived and remained at the back of the party. Its beady eyes watching Emile place her down onto the ground with care.
Emile drank a health potion and continued fighting. The boss was always flying around and diving down to deal punches.
Nimble Rod cast Snow Burst which he obtained from the Ice Phoenix. A giant ball of ice appeared in front of him. He launched it at the boss and made it burst in front of its face. It did a good portion of damage to the boss.
They continued fighting.
Soon, the boss collapsed, dropping nothing for them to pick up.
The man was dabbling with his pad hoping for different results. He wasn't willing to see his creature die. He struggled to trap them forever in the virtual zone. Sadly, no new result would emerge. Alas, nothing would go his way.
Emile and his party arrived back in the game world.
The party stood in front of the man wondering about how they should progress.
FBS Fulcron broke the silence, " Uhm... should we kill him..."
They never experienced a scenario where they had to kill an NPC. If they killed him, he would never respawn back into the world. It was a true death for him. Were his crimes worthy enough for a death sentence?
