Emile watched the boss lose the golden aura. It wasn't too much of a threat to Emile after the golden aura disappeared.
The first boss had 50% of its health left. The second boss had less than 60% of its health.
Emile was about to enter the hardest part of the fight. He would be weakened by the Berserk.
Emile attacked the second boss a few more times which lowered the health. He cast fireball and water sphere. Whenever the Yin-Yang Blast was out of the cooldown; he would cast it.
The berserk state ran out a few attacks later. This was the first time the berserk ran out while amid a fight.
He now had 60% of his max stats. This would last for an hour.
Emile could stall for an hour until the debuff disappeared. He could also try to deal more damage during this time. Though this wouldn't be efficient.
The real problem was that it decreased his agility.
Emile had 41 agility instead of 68. He would have to strain himself to dodge the attacks.
Emile wanted to stall an hour. He didn't want to fight while weakened. Fighting while weakened was risky and won't pay off too much.
In the best-case scenario, he would increase his real-life movement skills if he fought while weak, and at worst he would die.
Emile discovered the easiest way to evade the enemies. He would use his wind gems to push himself back.
Emile would run for some time whenever the gem's cooldown wore off he would use the wind gem on himself.
He would also use the fire gem and water gem to deal damage to the second boss. He wanted their healths to be equal.
Emile would get close to the second boss and use the fire and water gem. Then he would use the wind gem on himself to increase the distance between them.
The first boss was always running towards him. That boss could never get close to him since he would fly away with a wind gem.
He didn't have to struggle with these bosses since his items supported him.
The second bosses health arrived at 50% when it used Golden Bolt. This was coming towards him at the same speed as the other attacks. There didn't seem to be anything special about this attack.
Emile wasn't naïve. There had to be properties hidden away, so he was extra cautious. He dodged the attack. His cautiousness paid off.
The bolt changed direction after he dodged and sped towards him. This attack was a homing attack.
Emile spotted the changed to the attack and made his preparations accordingly.
There were two methods that Emile had thought of to stop the attack.
The first was to run until the spell wore off. Emile didn't know the exact time it would take for the spell to run out.
The other was to hit the bosses with its own spell. Though this requires getting closer to the bosses.
Emile decided to use the second method since this would deal damage to the bosses. He didn't know if the attack worked on the boss that cast it.
Emile targeted the first boss. He used a wind gem to fly towards the first boss. The attack followed him.
Emile arrived next to the boss. He could tank a hit or two from the boss. Even though the weakening lowered his max health, he wouldn't die in one hit.
The attack turned its direction and charged towards Emile. Emile stood behind the first boss which attacked at him.
He evaded by leaping backward. The attack grew closer; Emile circled the boss so that the first boss was between the attack and him. It was like a sandwich.
The 2nd boss didn't have a smart AI, so the attack landed on the first boss. It was a terrifying attack which dealt 1200 damage. This would have been enough to kill Emile even if he was at full health.
The first boss lost 5% of its health from this attack. It had 45% of its health.
The game forced Emile to run away since his wind gem was on cooldown. If he didn't run; he would die. He got hit by the first boss since it was faster than him.
This pushed him back.
Emile continued to run. Sometimes, he would turn around to counter-attack the first boss. This caused the boss to not land many hits on Emile.
Soon, his wind gem was off cooldown and he was back to a safe state.
The battle continued smoothly. Emile would use the gems whenever it was off cooldown. This pattern wouldn't change unless the boss used a skill.
This lasted until the second boss reached 20% of its total health.
The first boss had 35% of its health left.
The second boss lost more health since he focused the fire and water gem. Each time Emile used the gems, he would deal enormous values of damage to the boss.
The other reason was that he couldn't get too close to the first boss since there was the chance of it killing him.
The second boss activated its skill. It used {Elemental Destruction}.
As soon as the boss cast the skill, the sky rumbled. Dark clouds appeared from the distance. Lightning crackled and thunders growled.
It was a complete shift from the previous battlefield. This attack was an environment changing attack.
The many elements rained down. Fire rained down, lightning struck the earth, giant air blasts and more fell from the skies.
Emile realized that the AOE attack didn't hit everything inside its range. The clouds covered the entire meadow which showed that this was unavoidable. He couldn't run out of the skill's effect. It would be bad game design if the attack was unavoidable and caused instant death.
Emile had to dodge these attacks if he wanted to survive. Some of these attacks hit its ally which lowered the health of the first boss. The boss began to run towards some attacks. It could have avoided these attacks, but it didn't. It ignored Emile during this time.
Emile figured out that the boss was trying to get hit.
The first bosses health dropped down to 20% and it activated its final skill. It used {Roar of Destruction}.
The boss roared. Each time it roared, a giant shockwave would flow through the battlefield. These shockwaves were visible to the player.
Emile understood that he needed to dodge these attacks. Having him weakened made this scenario into a recipe for disaster.
Emile had to dodge the attacks from the skies and the attacks from the ground. There wasn't a single safe place in the entire meadow.
Emile jumped over the first shockwave that came towards him. He noticed that the bosses couldn't do anything else while using their skills.
Emile wanted to take advantage of this and ran towards the second boss. Running towards the first boss was suicide since the shockwaves were closer together than the farther away one.
These shockwaves were of various sizes. Some shockwaves could be jumped over with ease. While others required more straining of the muscles.
Emile calculated the best route to the second boss by gazing at the sky.
He ran towards the second boss. This was the most chaotic time.
