After placing the potion in his inventory, Emile thanked the lady.
"Ask me if you need help. I might help you. It depends on what kind of help you need. Some things I can't do anything about." she said.
"All right, I'll ask for your help If I need it. I don't know your name?" Emile hadn't called her anything since he didn't know her name.
"I'm Kira," she said.
"Nice to meet you, Kira, I'm Emile. I hope we have more interactions with each other." Emile said.
He put out his hand for a handshake.
"I don't want to touch your hands, but I can't leave you hanging," Kira firmly grabbed his hand. She was an interesting person.
Emile didn't know what to say. Her honesty made her hard to interact with since she spoke the truth. Most people would keep that fact hidden.
"I blurt out everything, so don't take it to heart," she said.
"All right. Thank you for your help," Emile walked away.
He left the HQ. When Emile was outside of the cellar, he remembered the direction stated by the old man. It was fresh in his memory.
He walked in that direction.
Emile saw the path. He didn't want to try a new route, so he chose to retrace his footsteps. He walked to the left.
Emile walked past the sign and ran. He had more than enough stamina to get to the city. The guards identified him at the gate.
He passed the gate of Sunrise City and teleported back to White Star City.
Completing these quests require a lot of menial work which Emile considered being boring.
Emile didn't want quest where he receives an Item from place X, then he delivers the item to place Y. At Place Y, he gets another item and has to deliver it to place Z. And, the quest is complete.
These quests didn't motivate him or put him in a mood to fight. Emile disliked these quests.
Emile walked to the mayor's office. Emile was getting familiar with the surroundings.
Buildings that touched the sky. The bakery next to the teleporter.
The bakery would become a famous location since it was next to the teleporter. Places near the teleporter would gain lots of fame since many players walk past this area.
Emile took the elevator to the mayor's office.
"Why are you back," the mayor asked. He was working on his tasks.
"I have the clear potion," Emile said.
"What?!?" The mayor lost control of his emotions. Emile didn't know this was a rare sight. Few people had seen the mayor freak out.
"Are you serious?!?" He continued.
"Yes," Emile took out the clear potion from his inventory and gave it to the mayor.
"All right. I think it's time for my break. Come with me to my home," The mayor said. He stood up and grabbed the potion with care.
The mayor took out a backpack and placed the potion in the backpack. He walked towards the elevator.
"Let's go," he yelled at Emile.
Emile hadn't observed the mayor being enthusiastic. It was a normal emotion considering the situation. The mayor could now leave and save his son's life.
His mind wouldn't be worried. He wouldn't be able to focus if his son wasn't cured.
If he couldn't focus, then he would make a blunder or two while working. This would create many consequences.
The mayor understood this logic, so he made no announcement about his son being on death's bed.
Emile walked into the elevator.
They arrived on the first floor.
"If any important clients arrive; tell them I'm busy for an hour or two," the mayor said to the man at the reception desk.
"Yes, sir," the man said.
"Good job. I'll give you a raise," the mayor was in a jolly mood. He gave out a raise to receptionist which made them excited.
They walked towards the residential district and stopped in front of a mansion.
They walked into the mansion. It had a gate made of steel. Someone created a garden with bushes and different flowers to the left of the pathway. The right had a small fountain spouting water.
They walked in and took the spiral stairs to the second floor.
Afterward, they entered a room where a young man was laying on a bed.
People wearing clinical masks were monitoring the boy. Emile assumed that they were doctors.
"I've got the clear potion," the mayor said to one doctor resting on a chair.
"As expected of the mayor," the doctor complimented the mayor.
"All right. Everyone prepare for the operation." He clapped to get the other doctors operation.
"Please hand the clear potion," the doctor said as he examined the other doctors.
The mayor gave the doctor the clear potion.
"You should leave the room. It will only take 30 minutes for us the apply the potion." the doctor said. They put on gloves.
The mayor walked out of the room and Emile followed.
They took a seat and sat in front of the door.
30 minutes passed.
The doctors walked out of the room.
"How did it go?' The mayor asked with worry.
"The operation was a success," The doctor said.
"He'll wake up tomorrow morning," the doctor said.
"We shall be leaving now," he packed his stuff.
Emile received a system notification. Emile thought he would complete the quest when he handed the clear potion to the mayor.
He must have completed a hidden aim which caused the quest to last longer.
If Emile received the clear potion on the first trip, then the mayor would have thanked him and they would split their paths, but now the mayor has trust in Emile which caused him to bring Emile to his home.
The quest was complete when the doctors stated that the operation was a success.
The mayor thanked the doctors and escorted them out. He didn't care if he was living up to his status. He was a humble man willing to lower himself.
Emile also thanked the doctors since they had saved someone's life. Lives weren't something they could joke around with.
These doctors saved lives every day and sometimes the lives can't be saved. The patients' family shouldn't blame the doctors since they tried.
"I also want to thank you for your help," the mayor thanked him profusely.
"You have the qualities of a leader, so I will give you something special. Come back tomorrow; I'll prepare the item soon," the mayor said.
"Oh, you're putting more suspense on the item," Emile said.
"Exactly. They won't know what the item is until tomorrow," the mayor said.
"All right. I'll leave now," Emile excused himself. He wanted to get back to Lily since he left her for a long time.
Emile walked out the mansion and walked past the garden and fountain. He was in the residential district. He didn't have a clue about Lily's location.
"Where are you," Emile messaged her.
"Oh, you remember about me. Your quest takes too long, if you do another quest like I'll probably ascend," Flower Queen said.
"What? Where are you?" Emile was confused about what she was trying to say.
"Scratch that. I've already ascended." Lily said.
"What's with the ascension talk? I'm really confused," Emile said. He felt more confused.
"I'll put it in simple words. I'm about 10,000 feet in the air." Lily said.
