"Don't skip. Get to the back of the line." Someone from the line noticed Emile walking towards the front.
Others heard this person's voice and yelled out at Emile.
"Get to the back."
"If you want to be a part of the party, listen to rules."
"Miss Flower Queen someone is disturbing the line."
Flower Queen looked at the person who was disturbing the line.
Some players thought he would get yelled at by Flower Queen. The others figured out his name out by identifying him. They noticed he was Mystical Flame, so they said nothing.
They were hoping for Mystical Flame to kick out the people who yelled at him. This would make the line shorter and allow them to have a higher chance of being chosen.
Flower Queen said nothing to the man which made some players assume that by breaking the rules they would get chosen. They became bold and also walked to Flower Queen.
They put these players into the category of people that wouldn't be a part of their party. They were bandwagoners and couldn't listen to orders. These were bad qualities to have.
Flower Queen said nothing to them until they appeared in front of her.
Some say how Flower Queen said nothing and also walked up to her. They disregarded her rules.
"We will select no one who is right now not in the line. That means everyone who walked towards me has disregarded the rules and will not be accepted into the party." Flower Queen said with no care in the world.
The players who walked to her felt shocked. They apologized.
Flower Queen ignored them.
"All right, he's Mystical Flame the party leader." Flower Queen said while pointing at Emile.
"Hey," Emile wasn't good at talking to many people so he felt nervous.
The players who followed Emile when walking to the front realized why he could break the rules. He was the party leader, so he didn't have to wait in the line.
"Here's what I will do. I will put multiple signs for each element. I want you to stand in front of the sign that has your element written on it." She said.
"I will get signs so wait here and watch the players. Enforce my rules." Flower Queen said to Emile.
"Yep, I understand," Emile listened to her words.
She walked away to buy signs.
"So does anyone know how many players there are on the line?" Emile didn't want to make them wait in silence.
"At least 70 players." One player responded to his words.
"That's interesting. That means one in ten players would get selected to join my party." Emile said.
"I'll give you some information about this party. I'm the party leader. Flower Queen is a member of this party. And Time Walker is the last member of this party. Time Walker is currently attempting the Elemental Courtyard." Emile said.
"We are a level 2 party that has a cap at 10 players. Our buff increases Spirit by 5% which makes us do more damage." Emile said.
The players listened to the benefits of joining his party.
At this moment, Flower Queen walked back and placed the signs down.
"I want each person to get off the line and stand in front of your element," she said.
They listened to her words. They feared her shooing them away, so they scurried to their respective elements.
In 30 seconds everyone was in place. More players appeared and stood on the lines.
The only element without a single person was the fire element. Since the players that were in front of her were all players from the different families.
The fire family didn't exist so there were only seven-player categories to chose from.
She walked to the water section and asked to show their Water Spheres. She brought out a device from her inventory.
This device showed the proficiency rating of the player's skills. There were 10 people in the water category.
Only 2 people passed 70% in their proficiency. These two could stay on the line while the others had to leave.
She moved onto Earth. She continued judging people based on their proficiencies.
By the time she finished judging the proficiencies, there were only 22 players left. Any new player that joined the line would get tested by Emile. He would use the device to measure their proficiency before they entered the next step.
Flower Queen wanted to find out their personalities to see what sort of person they were. She gave them a test about different scenarios and what they would do in those scenarios.
She messaged each player with a link to the test.
Scientists created these questions after analyzing the brain for a long time.
This wasn't a multiple-choice exam meaning that the players could write whatever they wanted for each question. Depending on how they answered each question, they would put them into certain personalities.
The test didn't just check their answers, it also checks their handwriting, how long they took for each question and more. They tracked everything they could to get the best results.
This lead to the results being scarily accurate.
The quiz had 84 questions. She gave them as much time as possible.
Emile and Flower Queen waited for them to finish. The first person finished in 1 hour 12 minutes.
They sent the results to her messages. She shared them with Emile.
An impatient person. He enjoys rushing things. Heart rate increased when answering questions about the reasons to join the party. Wants to look like a nice, carefree person.
Conclusion: Has ulterior motives.
They wouldn't accept this person. Having ulterior motives wasn't a good thing.
They continued waiting.
Players completed the test. He saw a lot of candidates that had good personalities to have in their party. There also were a few bad apples in this bunch.
Lily kicked them out. Some players still took the test.
She moved onto the last step of the recruitment process. A conversation.
Emile and Lily would talk to the person and ask some questions. if they like them they would allow them to enter into their party. The only reason they did this was that they didn't want an annoying player to be in their party.
If the player was to their liking, they would get accepted.
The first player was a female named Scarlet Sunset.
Lily set up a desk and chair she bought from the market. The market had lots of random items they could buy.
"Nice to meet you," Emile said after sitting in his chair.
"Ah... nice to meet you Mr. Flame." She was formal when speaking. She also sat down.
"You don't have to be formal. If you're in our party, then you'll speak casually without worry. None of us speak formally." Flower Queen said.
She was trying to ease the tension.
This was like a job interview except much more informal.
"Why do you want to join our party," she asked.
"It's because I'm a big fan of Mystical Flame. I admire him a lot." She gave a coquettish look towards Emile.
"Uh... thanks," Emile didn't know how to respond.
Lily felt a sense of danger coming from her. She gave a cold look towards her. Scarlet Sunset responded by sticking out her tongue.
They were staring at each other which made Emile feel awkward. Their staring was intense, they were trying to scrutinize each other.
They soon broke their deadlock.
Lily laughed before speaking: "She's a good person. Should we add her?"
Their staring session allowed Lily to understand Scarlet Sunset. She was a trustworthy person.
"What skill system do you have?" Emile asked her. He didn't accept her.
"I have the air skill system," she said.
She didn't seem to be annoying and had a decent personality. She became the first person they added to their party.
"Wow, thank you. You guys weren't lying when you said you gain a 5% Spirit boost. Why are you such high levels?" She exclaimed with shock.
Scarlet Sunset knew that Mystical Flame was level 10 due to the system announcement, but she didn't know about the others. She didn't look at the level leaderboard that often.
Their party had recruited their first new member.
They continued to hold conversations with the other players.
