It was the first day of school and the only different thing to me was that i'd be moving soon because my mom has gotten a job offer across the country and we could really use the money. The thing is I'm staying here because my mom has to travel a lot for this new job.
Paying the bills for a two bedroom apartment while one person is living there would be silly so I'm going to be moving to an apartment and getting a roommate. My mom said her best friends kid got a new apartment so her and her friend have decided to have us move in together.
It's gonna be the first time I'm on my own and not only that I'm gonna have to get my first job. I mean yes my mom is gonna send money but I don't want her to worry so much especially since moneys been really tight lately.
"Hazel you're gonna be late for your first day of school!"mom shouted from the kitchen "Hold on just let me tie my shoes."I said as I put my shoe on
I went out the door and ran for my bus stop without out taking a break. Waiting there for me was my best friend Zoey unsurprisingly making new friends since she's always been the social one of us.
I always have stayed home reading my webtoons and drawing. My favorites are the one's where the is a male tsundere that falls for a sweet innocent girl. I've always dreamed to have a love story like that.
I called for Zoey and she immediately recognized my voice and headed for me. I started running to her and we embraced each other into our arms.
Zoey had gone to Florida for the summer and we could only talk on video chat. And since Zoey was the only person I didn't feel awkward with I was cooped up inside for the whole summer.
Soon the bus had arrived and we sat in the first empty seats we could find. The bus ride wasn't long it was about a ten minute drive from home.
When we got to school we were given out schedule. I was most excited for art at the end of the day.
"Hey Zo what classes do you have?" I said as i looked at her schedule "Wow that's a first! We have all the same classes, you have zero clue how happy I am right now."
By the time it was art everyone looked worn out from all of the first day of school speeches from all the teachers.
Mrs.Birch started with her speech that she gave every year. "Okay class this is a new school year, and I hope-" she was cut off by a knock on the door before she could finish
"Who do you think it could be, everyone's in class already?"I said puzzled "Who knows maybe a new kid"Zoey said with the same expression I must of had.
Suddenly when the door opened everyone started to whisper. A tall guy with dark brown hair had walked in.
"Would you like to introduce yourself to class?" Mrs.Birch said looking up for she was an ant compared to him "Sure"he cleared his throat as he started speaking "my names Andrius and I'm a transfer student" his voice was so deep it was surprising.
"Well Andrius there's only one seat left next to Hazel so you may have your seat there." Mrs.Birch said wanting to finish her speech.
He grew closer as he was walking towards his seat and his aroma flooded the air with a smell that was like heaven. I had gotten a closer look at his face. I could just imagine drawing him. His perfect jawline, his tan skin, his dark hair that swept across his face hiding part of cut eyebrow. And his eyes, his eyes were icy blue and were mesmerizing. He was gorgeous.
He cleared his throat again "Can I help you? " he said in a cold voice "You have gorgeous eye- uh I mean I'm sorry" He just laugh in return to my embarrassment. I can't believe I was caught staring. Wait no, I can't believe I was staring.
It was finally time to go home and I couldn't wait to get to my apartment. I packed up my stuff and headed to my new home. I was opening the door unprepared for what was on the other side.
There he was getting out of the bathroom in a towel drying his perfect hair with his perfect chest exposed. Andrius. "AHHH" I screamed covering my eyes "Why are you here?!" "I live here"how could he speak so calmly. Mom never mentioned anything about her friends kid being a guy!
