Renard had quickly realised what he said and corrected himself whilst smiling awkwardly, "I'm sorry, I meant to say I'll buy it, haha."
"Thank you very much, if you hand the armour back to me I can start working on the adjustments. If you come back here in two days, I should have everything ready for you to try out." Kathy said.
Renard had been so caught up at that moment that he had even forgotten to take off the over-sized armour. After taking it off and handing it back over to Kathy, he asked Kathy a question. "Should I pay you now or when I come back after the adjustments are done?"
"Well, that is up to you. Either pay me half now and the other half when you pick it up or you could just pay me now, in full. Unfortunately, I can only offer you that. It wouldn't be the first time that someone has died during the making of their order." Kathy responded.
"That's understandable, I will just pay you in full today. It's easier that way, you don't have to worry about me dying either." Renard said.
"Well if you are ready, I will take the payment now." Kathy said as she thought, 'Technically, I would get more profit if you died.'
Renard put his hand into his trouser pocket, then thought the word 'Inventory' as he needed to get money into his hand.
In the Inventory, Renard now had more items than before. There were two main sections. The first was the same as before, it had little boxes with items in each. The second, new, section was below the first one and it seemed to store money. There were no boxes, only the money with a number next to it. Renard knew that the number was the current total of each currency he had.
In the money section, it showed he had 8 gold coins and 8 silver coins. Renard looked at those coins and thought, 'Withdraw one gold and two silver.' Renard then felt three coins appear in his hand and saw the number in the Inventory decrease by one and two, respectively. Renard then took out the coins are proceeded place them on the counter, trying to act as naturally as possible. It was only the second time he had to pretend that he had money in his pocket.
After taking a quick glance at the coins, Kathy picked them up and said, "Thank you very much, if you come back two days from now in the afternoon everything should be ready for you to pick up." Once she had put the coins away somewhere behind the desk she said to Renard, "Now, is there anything else I can help you with today?"
"Actually, you can. I also want to buy a weapon, do you also have any weapons I could purchase?" Renard replied.
"We don't have any in stock currently as all weapons are made to order, this makes them more expensive. If you are just looking for an ordinary weapon then I would just recommend going over to Kyle's shop."
"*cough* Actually, I would like to get a weapon from here." The thought of returning to Kyle's shop right now was too much for him to handle.
"That's fine as long as you understand that it will be a little more expensive. What sort of weapon are you looking for? We can make most swords, bows, spears and axes. Or if you are looking for a shield we can do that too. If you have any special requirements like if you want a specific material used we can do that too."
Renard hadn't actually thought about what weapon he should use. The first thing that came to his mind was a sword as that is what people in the fantasy stories he had read used. However, as he started to consider the pros and cons of each of the weapons a prompt had appeared from the system.
*Ding*
[You have met the requirements for hidden bonus: Starter Weapon Boost]

[Weapon Skill Boost]
[Please choose one of the following to receive a skill boost in:]
[Blade-Type Mastery]
[Spear-Type Mastery]
[Bow-Type Mastery]
'Oh, that's awesome. This system seems to have plenty of surprises left for me. I wonder what a boost in a Mastery means and what it will effect. Will it make me better at using that weapon? Or will I be able to learn using that weapon faster?'
As Renard hadn't responded to Kathy she decided to ask again, "So, what type of weapon was it that you wanted to get made?"
Renard snapped out of his focus on the system and responded, "Oh, sorry. I am just thinking over the pros and cons of the different types of weapons. I've narrowed it down to either a sword or a spear but I can't really pick between the two."
Renard had decided against the bow because his accuracy had always been terrible in his past life and he couldn't be bothered to try and improve it in his new life yet. He was actually hoping that he would get some cheat like an aim-bot in the future.
"Ok, I'll just be looking through some designs here while you think about it. Let me know when you are ready." Kathy said
"Thanks" Renard replied as he went back into thought.
After a few minutes of deliberation, he had decided on what he was going to choose.
Renard turned to Kathy and said, "I will be going with a sword." At the same time he also selected the Blade-Type Mastery from the system menu.

"Hold on a minute, there wouldn't happen to be a type of weapon called a colour would there?" Renard said.
"A colour weapon, are you joking? Colour is colour, you know? Like red and blue. There wouldn't be a weapon called that" Kathy chuckled, she thought Renard must have been joking.
