The two dragons flew up to the sky. One tried to bite, the other tried to evade. It seemed that the two of them were equally matched, so their fight was in a stalemate. Liang Heyun stood where he were, looking at the two dragons fighting. In his heart, he was surprised at the sudden...fight. He did not expect Bai Long to be this...fierce. Especially to the fact that Hei Long didn't want to become his cotracted beast. Liang Heyun himself didn't think much about it, and he was about to go away.
However, he was afraid that something would happen to Bai Long after he left, so he stayed behind and maintained a close distance with his newly acquired contracted beast.
The area where Bai Long and Hei Long were locked in was isolated from the world. Except for the small clearing near the cage, the other places were covered in thick fog. If not for him following the roar, he wouldn't be able to find the two dragons. He himself didn't know that only a selected few could hear the roar. All souls didn't hear anything wrong about the forest. Perhaps just the fact that one could easily get lost or one could easily lose one's life inside. The souls remained ignorant about this clearing.
Splatters of blood could be heard from his right, and so Liang Heyun ran over there. It would be hard for him to get anywhere, but he just ran straight, and he hoped that he was running straight. He found out that he did when he saw a clearing of two handsome men lying in a pool of blood. The white haired man's arm was injured, while the black haired man's neck had a long gash on it.
Liang Heyun remembered that elixir he was given to by Liang Yan. He immediately took out a bottle and tried to remember the method of application (you even forget the method of application ha...ha...ha...!). Bai Long saw Liang Heyun kneeling by Hei Long while holding the bottle. He was panicking.
"He should drink that elixir," Bai Long said, recognizing the elixir, "but right now, with his next cut, there is no way for him to drink that elixir."
Liang Heyun panicked even more. He tried to recall various memories, and instead found one that didn't come from the current apparent realm. This memory was hazy and foggy, as if it was a movie from the olden times. He saw a beautiful woman doing some actions to a dying man. Recalling the actions, he did the same.
The woman picked up some herbs, and crushed it into powder. She mixed it with water, and placed it into her mouth, but not drinking it. Liang Heyun opened the bottle of elixir and immediately stored them all into his mouth.
The next thing the woman did was try to give it to the dying man.
Liang Heyun's eyebrows scrunched at the thought, but he couldn't just let Hei Long die. And so, he fed Hei Long the elixir while doing similar hand signs like the woman's on top of his stomach. Golden light came out of his hands as Hei Long's wound healed up in a visible rate. Bai Long was surprised, at that moment, the little boy disappeared and was replaced with a beautiful woman with soft looking features. Her eyes were closed and her face looked solemn, but the aura was familiar.
"Lady!" Bai Long looked at the woman wearing a pure white robe. Her looks was in contrast with the dying Hei Long, as if she shouldn't be tainted.
Hei Long found himself recovering, and soon, he could open his eyes once more. To his surprise, there was a beautiful woman instead of the little boy in front of him. Her eyes were closed, but the next second, it opened.
The eyes, were exactly the same as the little boy's.
"Lady!" Hei Long recalled the aura.
The woman nodded her head and said, "I'll rest again. This medium is not strong enough."
After those two sentences, the woman transformed back to the ten years old Liang Heyun. The little boy's face was flushed as his body trembled numerous times. Although Hei Long was disappointed that the Lady couldn't stay longer, he was glad that the Lady was reborn. As expected, Liang Heyun caught a fever. His body simply couldn't handle the Lady's powers. It was simply too much.
However, he would have to take care of another trouble...
Bai Long had never seen a soul that could transform from a male to a female or a female to a male. It was too surprising. The innocent Bai Long who had only heard of the Lady immediately fainted. It was true that Bai Long was younger than Hei Long, however a spiritual beast's appearance could only stay until the late 20s, hence explaining why the old Hei Long could look so young.
Hei Long had experienced beforehand how the Lady was. He was the 8th Hei Long generation while Bai Long was the 20th Bai Long generation. The holy dragons were all naive and the only advantage they had was their powers. In addition, they were reluctant to use their powers to harm others.
