The village was hidden deep into the dense jungle. Although from a distance, it seemed a gloomy place, shadowed by the looming trees and the compact leaves that formed the canopy, the village was surprisingly bright and a cheerful aura surrounded the entire area.
The clearing was quite large, allowing for more than 100 residential houses and many more windmills and warehouses to reside inside it. The beautiful sun reflected joyfully against the blooming wheat fields and farmers reaped the wheat, collecting them by the bunches and bringing them back to silos to store.
'The overall atmosphere is truly not bad.' Yun Feng analysed carefully. Truthfully speaking, as a village in the outskirts of a province, having a town population of over 500 was already quite outstanding. Yun Feng glanced over to the senior sister with a newfound respect in his eyes, "You've worked hard to keep these people going. You're truly amazing senior sister!"
The 'senior sister' blushed slightly in annoyance, "I thought I told you to call me Alice, enough with that senior sister nonsense, it makes me sound older than I am!"
Yun Feng mused over the matter silently before grinning and replying, "Alright then Alice, I'll be inconveniencing you then." while on the inside, 'This senior sister was truly too nice, even letting a nobody like me call her by her name. This makes me respect her even more!'
The party strode through the clearing, passing by a gate with a dragon engraved upon, which Yun Feng took note of. The houses were well built and seemed to be completely functional. The largest one in the centre of the village could even rival his own mansion!
As they passed by the houses, villagers called out from the sides.
"Miss Alice, you're back!"
"Would you like a cup of water to settle the dust?"
"I have some freshly baked bread for you, if you'd like."
Alice walked up to everyone who had called her name, addressing their greetings personally and even taking up gifts that she had almost been forced to keep. By the time she returned to the party, her hands were full of presents from the villagers, making her look quite hilariously unstable while walking.
Yun Feng took up the opportunity to help this senior sister of his, making a quick grasping motion towards the pile of gifts. Almost instantly later, half the load was transferred to his hands, he noticed the there were truly a lot of freshly baked bread amongst the gifts.
Noticing the sudden loss of weight, Alice turned back quickly, dropping a few of the top most presents from her pile. In shock, she tried to catch them with the pile once more, however this only triggered worse effects as more of the load began to topple, and in mere milliseconds, most of her pile was in the air, dropping to the floor.
Alice cursed herself for being so careless, ready to begin picking the presents up once more when a sudden gust of wind surged through the dragon engraved gate, the street in which they walked and under the presents, keeping each and every one afloat in the air. All the onlookers gasped in surprise as they looked for the cause of this phenomenon. Alice searched her surroundings desperately for a sign of magical power, but there was simply none to be found.
She had began to circle her surrounds once more when a voice stopped her, "Senior Sist... Ahem, I mean Alice. You should be more careful with your gifts! There are a lot of freshly baked loaves of bread you know."
Alice swung her head back in disbelief, the man named Yun Feng currently had his arm out-stretched, robes flying in every direction and above him were a portion of the gifts she was just carrying. Her pupils dilated in surprise, 'There is no way right? How could there be a male witch. Even in Roland's kingdom, or even Tilly's islands, there has never been such a matter!'
Slowly, yet efficiently, the presents began to gather back into a pile, still hovering slightly above the dirt and gravel road. Yun Feng smiled brightly at Alice before saying, "It's alright now Senior Si... Alice, you don't need to get your hands stained over such a minor matter."
He began walking once more, gesturing for Alice to lead to way, however she simply stood still, staring, mouth agape. Suddenly, Yun Feng realised his behaviour may have been a little brash. "Sorry Alice. Oh! I actually managed it this time! Ahem... pardon my unrefined manners, I'll give them back to you right away."
Yun Feng floated the goods over to Alice, preparing to allow her own energy receive it, however she waved her hand slightly, "It's fine, you can do it."
Yun Feng smiled widely before answering, "You should have just said so in the first place, Alice. I could have helped you from the very beginning!"
Alice was at a lost for words, 'How could this man that harnessed the power of the witches be this easy going. Surely he was an important figure, being the only ever male witch in the history of the continent.'
An ability to control wind was not unheard of, however this Yun Feng had remarkable control over the wind, easily manipulating it to allow a pile of her presents to float in the air as if their were made to fly. This ability was just too special to leave unexplored, "Excuse me, but could I ask you to describe your ability to me?"
Yun Feng, thinking that there was something serious to say, smiled in relief before shortly going through his basic achievements, "That's completely fine, I just hope Alice will not be bored of my meagre cultivation. My age is currently 17 and I've just reached the pinnacle of Spirit Condensation realm. My punching strength can reach 1000kg and my kicks can reach 2500kg. Finally, I have reached pinnacle of the second stage of wind manipulation and can control winds at will, however it is still quite energy expending." Yun Feng blushed slightly before continuing, "Of course it's nothing compared to Alice, you are so young and yet you have already the Sky Realm."
Yun Feng looked back up towards Alice, only to see her eyes bulging out in surprise while muttering some of what he had just said in a low voice, "1000kg punches, 2500kg kicks, age 17, wind manipulation..."
Yun Feng scratched his head awkwardly, "Uh... Alice?"
"Hmph, it's good that you know you are nothing much. A cultivator still has a long way to go and I hope you don't grow arrogant with this little bit of talent! I will be observing you from now on and if you hope to life, you'd better follow my orders!"
Yun Feng shivered at the cold tone Alice had just emitted. During her commands, Yun Feng noticed the temperature around him had dropped several fold. His eyes gleamed with excitement and fear simultaneously. If one was able to manipulate the cold to such an extent, they would have mastered their frost manipulation to the fourth level or more!
Yun Feng shook his head at the difference in talent before kneeling onto one knee and placing his right hand on his heart, "I swear I will follow Alice and your orders!"
