"Can I touch…!?" – Evan said while trying to reach the little two soft mountains before his eyes. The question he asked was more of a rhetorical question rather than a question that would require an answer.
The hand was just a few centimetres away, when the girl couldn't take it anymore.
"Kyaaaaa" – Britney loudly screamed when the muscular mountain in front of her all of a sudden moved to touch her chest.
[Sugar…It seems I completely forgot myself.] – Evan came back to himself due to the sudden scream. He knew he almost crossed the line that he usually wouldn't even when he was pranking. He took his hand back and tried to find an exit.
"It's a prank miss, it's a prank, nothing to worry about!" – Evan was waving his hands from side to a side in order to distract the girl and make her calm down. Evan thought that since he didn't actually touch the girl, he would be able to deal with the situation without any troubles, but the reality was never this easy. Evan didn't know the background of the girl and therefore didn't understand the seriousness of the situation he was in.
Three oppressive energies abruptly started to pressure down on Evan.

Alpha's notification ringed in Evan's mind. When a hostile intent was directed at somebody, alpha would immediately detect it and notify Evan about it. It immediately could tell the cultivation level, the enemy's location and the enemy's precise movements within a certain distance from Evan.
This world contained many planes, the planes were divided by the three categories mortal, immortal and divine. Most of the planes had a specific power system, which most of the time would be very different from one another.
The Monster Empire was a mortal plane with a power system that was based on a creation of familiar or more precisely a clone in form of the monster. Due to the fact that the monster was a representation of the human nature, it would have a special trait that manifested the nature of the human.
Alpha was created using the purest form of energy that was karma energy. Karma energy was argued to have existed even before the creation of the world itself. The karma energy could be transferred into any other type of energy, vice versa was impossible for all but alpha to accomplish. Karma Energy was a combination of luck, destiny, potential, deeds and even the essence of the creatures. Alpha could absorb, store, convert, radiate and even transfer this energy to Evan. Transfer of the energy would rapidly increase the cultivation level of any cultivators.
"Who dares to cause problems for my little Britney!?" – A strict low voice clearly reached Evan's ears, who at the moment was feeling as if a mountain was pressed down onto him.
A moment later an elderly man dressed in scholarly uniform was walking out from a side door near the reception. Two bulky guys in a golden knight's attire were walking closely behind him. They had an oppressive aura around them and from a single look exposed their experience as a part of a military.
"Grandpa…!?" – in a crying voice the said while looking around to see the elderly.
Within a single moment, the elderly man appeared beside the girl and gently hugged her. He didn't know what happened here but was sure that his grand daughter was not in the wrong. When he heard Britney screaming, he immediately rushed out to check what is going on.
Using his spiritual sense, he checked the guy next to his granddaughter. No cultivation whatsoever, cheap clothes and even worse looks. The elderly was doubting his eyes since a person in such a sorry state should not be present in the capital.
One of the guards saw the look in the elderly eyes, and understanding what the look meant, without any formalities, he palmed at Evan's chest. A trace of blue energy was visible on the palm which meant he was using the monster energy. Such a strike would take a non-cultivator's life as easy as killing an ant.
The guard's intention was clear, to increase his status and relationship with the elderly, he was trying to kill an innocent person. Surprisingly however, the palm never reached Evan, because even before the guard started to move, Evan had started his own move. Well it was strange to call it a move because it was just running away, anyway just a moment before the guard even started to move, Evan was in the middle of taking a step back, as if he knew what was going to happen.
Alpha had informed him about a high possibility of such an attack, and Evan immediately took action to protect himself. Giving the current situation, the best solution was to run away as soon as possible. Later he would find a way to fix the problem with the girl.
The guard was stupefied when his hand just missed a few millimetres away from the target. He immediately continued to take a step to follow up the attack with one more strike when a huge foot suddenly appeared right in front of his face and smashed him, throwing his body away for a whole of dozen metres.
Evan didn't even look at the guy whom he just kicked into the face and instead continued his run.
"BASTARD!" – the guard jumped up from his position and as if a projectile from a canon? Sped towards Evan.
"Damn, I needed only a few more metres!" – Evan jumped to a side without looking back knowing through alpha that he wouldn't have enough time to reach until the exit door.
Evan rolled over and tried to find his footing to continue his crazy run.
The guard was fuming fire from his nose due to anger. Never in his live had he made such a mistake where he couldn't take care of a person with no cultivation. Not only he failed once, he did it a second time as well.
"Interesting, he dodged Matt's strikes as if he can see the future. Matt didn't actually start to move, when the guy was already dodging away" – the Elderly spoke with surprized expression.
[Holy monkeys, I can't get away from this guy, why he is so obsessed with such a minor person like I am!? Sugar, don't tell me he is into men!?] – Evan was having a hard time dodging the guards strikes. Any mistake on Evan's side would result in death, but still he wasn't too much worried since alpha was helping him out. The guard's movements were predicted effortlessly, and even though Evan's body couldn't move according to his wishes he was managing it quite well.
"Matt, stop, right now!" – Britney shouted after coming back from her initial shock.
The guard stopped attacking and just continued to glare at Evan. He was acting according to his own judgement and once Britney voiced her order, he didn't have a choice. Evan dodged his attack exactly ten times. No one would believe that a normal person with no cultivation, would stay completely unharmed after the guard ten times attempted to kill him with all of his power.
"My little Britney! Why were you screaming, you made your grandfather worried!?" – the Elderly man in scholar's clothes finally asked the question to learn about the situation not caring about the fact that his guard almost killed a human being.
"I…Its nothing…The person suddenly appeared in front of me, when I was thinking about something else. I got scared and screamed. It just was too sudden, I am sorry! Please leave the person alone, he didn't do anything!" – Britney cheeks were red due to embarrassment, but her eyes were resolute.
"If it's what my lovely granddaughter wants, of course we will do it! Matt come back, we need to work!" – the Elder said with a commanding voice, and the guard who was glaring at Evan in anger, could only follow the orders.
"Let's go!" – the Elderly grabbed Britney's hand and was walking towards the door from where he came, the guards were walking closely behind.
Evan was dumbfounded since no one even tried to apologise for going after his live. He thought to himself – [Just you wait ugly bastards, I will make you wish to never have met me] – Evan could only sigh, he long knew that an aristocratic society lives exactly like this.
Evan just left the library, when Britney suddenly stopped and looked back.
"Grandpa, just give me a second, we didn't apologise for what happened to the man just now, I will apologise for it and come back!" – Britney said the words with determination visible to a naked eye.
"Oh. Even if some one is just a puny beggar, we will not bully the weak if we are not provoked, but don't you think he is not worthy for you to apologise!?" – the Elderly's voice was calm and created a sense of security for the people around.
"Please, please, please, I know that grandpa is the kindest person in the world…!" – Britney turned on her special weapon, begging with compliments.
"Okey, okey, do what you want!" – the elderly took a deep breath, and could just comply to the demands.
"Thank you father, you are the best!" – Britney kissed his cheeks, and immediately run outside after Evan.

[Man, that sucks. Just something so minor and it could actually have costed me my hard earned second life...Jeez...Need to stay low key] - Evan just went ouside the library, and couldn't help but complain about the previous situation. He didn't do anything but almost lost his precious life.
He heard a stepping sound, and turned around.
"Dejavu!?" - Evan was watching at the girl who was running towards him, with two huge shacking hills.
"Listen well you lowly peasant, I will not tolerate such rude behaviour from an unlearned muscle head. Not only you showed me disrespect but even didn't try to apologise!" - Britney was furious, she couldn't let go of the thing that happened just now.
"Wow, wow, pretty! Too many words for a single time. Who do you say is unlearned!?" - Evan was smiling. He just thought of a good way to motivate himself to study all the available books in the library and even was planning to make it not too boring with such a beauty as accompany himself.
"You're, you bastard! I just saved his life and yet are so shameless that you are speaking back to me!?" - Britney was so angry that almost was ready to jump at Evan to skin him alive.
"Beautiful miss, I don't even know your name yet, you don't know mine either. What makes you think that you're more learned than I am!?" - Evan was in a very good mood. He was 100% sure that he could manipulate the girl at the moment as much as he wanted since she was too angry.
"It's a well known fact that muscle guys like you are as dumb as chicken!" - Britney was already shouting.
An evil grin appaered on Evan's face.
"Do you dare to make a bet!?"
