Ben Li and Wang Xie kept walking down the path laid by the crumbling Bridge and soon found many large islands floating mid-air by the distance.
The floating islands were massive in size along with erupting volcanoes each on top of one of them. The molten lava flowing out from the craters of the volcanoes flowed downwards until the edges of their island and fell like waterfalls down to the raging sea of black flames.
The floating islands weren't explored yet but Ben Li and Wang Xie weren't impatient for it. After all, it wasn't like there were boons stored in there anyway.
"I didn't expect there were actually places that even you, the author didn't know." said Wang Xie to Ben Li. "Are you really sure this realm wasn't mentioned in the novel?"
"I'm positive this place wasn't mentioned in the novel." responded Ben Li as he affirmed. "As far as I could remember, I don't think I have written anything related about a pitch-black rose flower being the key to opening a portal to hell."
"But what if you just don't remember? What if this place really was written somewhere in the chapters of the novel only it was briefly mentioned with a paragraph or two and was completely forgotten then?" As Wang Xie asked, Ben Li shook his head.
"Perhaps before I would've doubted myself that I haven't written any realms containing pandemonium. But now I'm completely sure of myself as I can remember everything in my past life.
"I have the Dream System that can navigate in my sea of memories, remember? Using it, I can search even the tiniest details of my life stored in there. And as far as I searched, there is no pitch-black flower that I've written in the 1st or 2nd version of my 1st novel, or even the other novels that I've written in my life."
Ben Li was telling the truth.
Using the Dream system, Ben Li can navigate his memories whether they were forgotten recently or lost for a long time. And from what he found out from the Meticulous Search tool in the system, there were no results found when he used the keywords; Rose Flower or even Key to hell.
Such was why he denied Wang Xie's claims so eagerly.
Wang Xie clicked his tongue knowing that.
If Ben Li said was true then there's probably no use asking him where the treasures are hidden in this mysterious realm.
It was like asking Google map where the where the Easter eggs were located.
It just wouldn't work.
And even though Wang Xie has attained memories belonging to Ben Li just like how Ben Li attained memories belonging to him, he didn't want to recall Ben Li's merciless writing skills which infuriated him the most.
What's more, they had entered the Walmart of hell once again with Ben Li having no apparent reason for it. If they weren't looking for mysterious artifacts then what reason did he wanted to return here? Wang Xie had the urge to ask why he was dragging him here for.
"We're almost there." said Ben Li as he gazed out front.
Wang Xie also did the same and saw a land of white and black ashes spanning over millions of miles just at the end of the ruined bridge.
They both stopped just an inch away from the land of ashes and landed their gazes at each other.
"After you, Mr. Crush everything in my way." said Ben Li as he gestured the path ahead.
Wang Xie snorted are him and moved forward. His feet left the ground and floated mid-air, then he leaned forward and hovered away.
Witnessing him flying without any logical mechanics at work with an arrogant look on his face and his arms crossed above his chest, Ben Li felt like dragging him down before his neck would start to hurt from the craning. Ben Li followed suit as he also hovered in the air as well. Not daring to move too fast or too slow as they both avoided touching the ashes on the ground.
Ben Li and Wang Xie didn't know why but their intuitions told them that the ashes on the ground were too sacred to be touched. And considering how mysterious this realm was to them, they didn't dare to do anything funny that might potentially obliterate them before they even noticed.
Time passed, and the two found a giant sinkhole just ahead of them.
They both stop and hovered above the giant sinkhole and gaze down at it. And they saw a dark, bottomless abyss with no hope of light to ever spark in its void. And the wind breezing out from it screamed like the ghouls were devouring flesh and bones.
What mortal would dare enter such fearsome such perforation that seems to be the entrance of the lowest pits of hell?
Naturally, who could it be if not these to idiots looking down on it?
"Strongest before weakest." said Ben Li as he smiled and gestured the way for Wang Xie to cross.
"Coward." mocked Wang Xie as he snorted. Then he descended down into the sinkhole fearlessly with Ben Li following suit.
It wasn't long until they entered that the void had robbed their vision from them. And as if their presence had triggered something, the walls of the sinkhole began to tremor with waves rippling out.
Then countless pale human arms extended out from the walls with hands spread out to grab Ben Li and Wang Xie.
Facing this army of pale hands coming to capture them and threatened to tear them apart, Ben Li and Wang Xie were calm against it as they were no problem at all.
"Give me the damn flower." said Wang Xie in a commanding tone.
Ben Li then passed him the pitch-black rose and which Wang Xie grabbed and shoved it downwards.
"See this? This is our fucking visa passport, you flower-phobic bitches!" as Wang Xie said so, the countless arms that extended out, squirmed in fright as if they had met their true nemesis and pulled back to disappear from the walls.
Once the obstructions were out of the way, nothing was left for them to fear. They continued to descend until they saw a glowing patch of land just below them. But just like before, they dare not to touch the land beneath and instead hovered above it.
Once they arrived at the end, the first thing they did was gaze at a certain direction.
They both saw giant black steles that were 3 stories high.
Inscribed on them were demonic calligraphies brimming the arcane aura of unfathomable concepts. The words engraved were simple to understand. Yet, they felt deep and profound on the contrary. As if each and every word had different meanings to comprehend.
"The Ten Commandments of The Demonic Hades Imperial Gospel..." muttered Ben Li as he read the words inscribed on top of the two Steles.
What they were looking at was a cultivation heritage left behind by who knows what expert.
The Ten Commandments of The Demonic Hades Imperial Gospel was a cultivation art specializing in mind and soul cultivation.
It utilizes the mysterious conceptual laws that this pandemonium realm heavily abided to temper the mind and refine the soul of the cultivator using preternatural ideology belonging to the dead living in this realm along with the constant incineration of the soul's impurities to refine it into a much purer vessel to house and operate the Imperial Gospel's supernatural powers.
Basically, it's like follow a cult religion and gain powers belonging to the king of hell.
"Don't tell me we came here for that?" Wang Xie pointed at the two Steles with a skeptical face. And Ben Li nodded back which made Wang Xie a bit befuddled.
One time ago, Ben Li Wang Xie manage to delve into the mysteries for this realm and saw these two mysterious giant black steles imbedded like towers in this glowing patch of land with nothing else in sight.
After investigating the two giant steles, they realize it was a cultivation heritage specializing in tempering the mind and refining the soul.
If they cultivate this, they would experience a massive boost in their foundations and battle prowess which can put their powers rivaling the powers of experts with higher cultivation realms!
With a mind tempered thoroughly with the ideological experiences of the dead, his will power would comparable to immortal soldiers who bathe their bodies in blood and the soul refining to transforming an unblemished vessel with no impurities attached, their progress in cultivation will advance by leaps and bounds with less restrictions in breakthroughs!
