Seraphine, a Luna who was considered a disgrace by her entire pack for having two eye colors, purple and blue, struggled with shapeshifting and was seen as the weakest, a deformed werewolf.

Accused of having an affair because she was pregnant with the Alpha, Caius Stormhowl, Seraphine's desperate defense landed her in jail. In a bid to escape, she fell victim to a brutal attack by the Beta, causing her to fall off a cliff and into the cursed forest, Doomwood.
