After World War 3, four zones were born: Zone 69 (US), Zone 77 (Russia), Zone 88 (China), and Zone 99 (Africa), ruled by powerful families. Peace lasted only a moment before the hunt began. The "Awakened"—that's us—are feared, hunted, and locked out. They built walls to separate us, but we could tear them down if we wanted.
