Elena had always sought adventure, yearning to explore the world and embrace all it had to offer. But that dream seemed impossible due to her very existence. Her birth was a miracle, an anomaly that defied nature. She was something that shouldn't exist, and she had to keep that secret hidden. Until one day, an opportunity arose: the chance to enter the academy. At 18 years old, she finally took that step, and it was there that she met him.

He was breathtakingly beautiful, in a way that made Elena question how anyone, especially a man, could possess such beauty. She found herself captivated by him, unable to look away.

"Elena, will you be my mate?" he asked, holding her tightly and gazing into her obsidian eyes.

"Yes," Elena replied, her heart racing with excitement.

She couldn't believe it had taken him so long to ask. But with that single word, "yes," she—a being that shouldn't exist—had fallen into the hands of another. The world had no idea what he was. He wasn't a werewolf, human, or vampire, but he was no less powerful.
