Shanane, a radiant 23-year-old woman, was born in the village of Kubeyra. After the death of her mother, she was raised by her loving grandmother, who, upon Shanane turning 18, sent her away to another state with strict instructions never to return. Obeying her grandmother's wishes, Shanane stayed away, leaving behind her roots and the mysteries of her birthplace.

However, a tragic turn of events forces her to return to her homeland of Britt. There, she unearths secrets buried deep in the shadow, truths she wishes she had never uncovered.

Amidst her journey, she encounters a powerful and feared demon, a creature intent on bending her to its will. As she struggles against its dark influence, Shanane must find the strength to face her destiny and protect her soul from the forces threatening to consume it. Otherwise she will be lost in darkness forever.
