Abaddon is a noble-born boy in a world where superpowers determine a person’s value. Though his father is the strongest human on the continent, Abaddon is born powerless—a disgrace in royal circles. This act of defiance draws the attention of Kaelar, the Primordial of Chaos, who offers Abaddon a pact: the power to kill the gods in exchange for freeing the Primordials. Kaelar creates a new heart for Abaddon from his essence—the Chaotic Heart of Ashura. Reborn with this power, Abaddon embarks on a relentless journey to destroy the gods, retrieve his family’s souls from Xerathar, and endure immense pain for the sake of love and vengeance.
