Ginryuu Homura is the illegitimate child of the Frostborn royal family and a rare male Moonchild, a descendant of the long-forgotten lineage of Luna, the Moon Goddess. Born with the revered Blue Flame, a mystical fire infused with both ice and fire, Homura embodies a rare balance of elements. This unique power is rumored to be the key to peace between the opposing forces of fire and frost. Yet, rather than celebrated, Homura’s origins and powers mark him as an outcast, a reminder of a forbidden union.

After the devastating Great Ignition, which left elemental factions fractured and weary of one another, the Frostborn seek peace with their ancient rivals, the Solare Empire. As a token of this fragile peace, Homura is chosen as a sacrificial envoy, handed over to the empire despite his royal heritage. Upon his arrival, he is placed as a ward under Kouen, the Commander-in-Chief of the Scorchers—a fierce military faction that venerates Sol, the God of Fire.

Kouen, known for his cunning and charm, sees Homura’s blue flame not as a threat, but as a potential weapon that could change the course of history. While others view Homura’s flame with suspicion, Kouen is drawn to its mysterious power, recognizing that it might be instrumental in mending the elemental rifts that led to the Great Ignition.
